~Previous~

I ran upstairs and locked my self in a room and grabbed a bag and took out a razor and made four fresh cuts and slid against the door onto the floor sobbing. I can't believe my mom said that!! I cleaned up my cuts and climbed out the window cause I didn't want to see her face and started to run while crying. Until I bumbed into someone...

Unknown: Melissa??

~Now~

~Melissa's POV~

I heard my name and I looked up to see Jacob but he seemed worried.
"Jacob!!" I said surprised
"Melissa why are you crying??" Jacob said worried
"I..I..My pare...Screa..My mo...I can...I just..."

I couldn't hold it in anymore I broke down crying harder than I already was. I fell to the ground sobbing and Jacob was holding me and rubbing my back. He was so sweet that he picked me up and entered his house, he took us to his room and closed the door, he gently layed me down on his bed and got in with me pulling me into his arms while I cried.

~Jacob's POV~

I was coming home my little walk I needed to clear my head for a bit until I bumbed into a crying girl. (Jacob:J Melissa:M I'm gonna make them like this for now on)

J: Melissa??
M: Jacob!!
She was suprised when she saw that it was me that she bumped into
J: Why are you crying??

I was worried that something terrible must've happened and she kept on stuttering and she fell to the ground sobbing. I bent down holding her then I picked her up and took her to my room. I layed her down and went next to her and held her into my arms. She kept on crying for an hour. Then she calmed down I looked down to see that she fell asleep in my arms.

I smiled and I grabed her wrist to only feel something on them I checked them and there were fresh cuts!!! Why would she do this?? I started thinking. I got out of the bed and went downstairs to tell my parents about cancelling tonight because of what just happened.

J: Hey mom
M: Yeah sweetie?
J:Can we cancel tonight it's just tonights not good
M: Okay we could do it tomorrow night
J: Okay thanks mom
I ran back upstairs to see Melissa waking up.
J: Hey
M: Hi
J: Are you okay?

I asked while getting back on the bed
M: Yeah I'm fine...
I can tell that she wasn't fine especially of what happened
J: I know you're lying
M: I'm sorry
J: It's okay. What happened? Why were you crying?

She started to tear up again so I went closer to her and held her again.
J: Hey it's okay, you can trust me
M: *Smiles* okay. But do you promise to not tell ANYONE about this okay? About what I'm going to tell you.
J: I promise

~Melissa's POV~

J: I promise

After Jacob promised me that he won't say anything. I begin to tell him everything. My parents, getting bullied, not eating, my mother. I just left out one piece that I didn't plan on telling him. While I'm telling him everything I start crying and I look up to see him tearing up

J: Melissa? I'm so sorry
He gives me a hug
J: No one should live like that especially a beautiful girl like you. He says while wiping my tears with his thumb.
M: *Blushes and smiles* Thank you Jacob

J: For what?
M: For listening, for taking care of me, for calling me beautiful. Even though I don't believe it I still appreciate it
J: *Smiles* You're welcome and you are truly beautiful

We stare eachother in the eyes for what seemed forever. I didn't want to tell him but when he caried me and held me in his arms I felt something, I felt a spark but I thought that was pain. Until he held me again and I felt it again but stronger than last time. I guess that I like him but he doesn't, he just feel's pitty for me.

~Jacob's POV~

I felt so bad for Melissa no one should have a life like that. I started to tear up of what she told me because it's just horrible to hear that espicially since she's so beautiful.

J: No one should live like that especially a beautiful girl like you.
I said while wiping her tears away.
M: *Blushes and smiles* Thank you Jacob
J: For what?

M: For listening, for taking care of me, for calling me beautiful. Even though I don't believe it I still appreciate it
J: *Smiles* You're welcome and you are truly beautiful.

After I said that we just stared into eachother's eyes that felt forever. She has beautiful eyes. Gosh why is she so perfect I feel that I like her. I didn't say it earlier but everytime we touch or when I hold her I felt sparks I don't know if she felt them she probably thinks of me as a friend though.

That's when we both started leaning in towards eachother and...
