~Chapter 5~

~Jacob's POV~

I heard a doorbell that made me jump. Wait was I daydreaming the whole thing? It felt so real. I think that Melissa was daydreaming too because I saw her jump as well. I thought that the whole thing was real. I wanted it all too happen, I like her so much that it's crazy! I hope that she feels the same and was daydreaming about the same thing.

I walked over to the door and opened it to see who it was, and it was my best friend Mark. I greeted him and then we walked into the kitchen that's when he stopped and stared at Melissa then looked at me.

M.T: Bro there's a girl sitting on your counter.
J: Yeah and? What's the problem?
M.T: The problem is that there's a girl on your counter looking at us.
M: *Laughs* I have a name you know
J: *Chuckels* Um Mark this is Melissa my new neighbor and Melissa this is Mark my best friend.
M.T: Nice to meet you Melissa
M: You too. Well at least he knows my name because I wouldn't like to be known as 'The girl sitting on a counter'
M.T: Sorry for that
M: It's fine

~Mark's POV~

I was bored so I decided to go to Jacob's house since he's my bro when I entered his house and went to the kitchen I saw a beautiful girl. But she looked really familiar.

M.T: Bro there's a girl sitting on your counter.
J: Yeah and? What's the problem?
M.T: The problem is that there's a girl on your counter looking at us!
M: *Laughs* I have a name you know
J: *Chuckels* Um Mark this is Melissa my new neighbor and Melissa this is Mark my best friend.

Ohh so she was the person that moved into the house next door. I didn't know that she was gonna be so beautiful.

M.T: Nice to meet you Melissa
M: You too. Well at least he knows my name because I wouldn't like to be known as 'The girl sitting on a counter'
M.T: Sorry for that
M: It's fine

To be honest I kinda liked her. Now I remember I saw her on YouTube she was in my recomendation and I started watching her videos. She was funny, weird and beautiful. I saw some of her covers and may I tell you she has an AMAZING voice. I started following her and I subscribed to her. I never met her in person though so I was a little nervous.

~Melissa's POV~

When Jacob introduced me to his best friend. Mark. He wouldn't stop staring at me (Mark) He's kinda cute but not cute as Jacob (😍💯💗)

M: So now what y'all want to do?
J: The park? I can invite some of my other friends to hang out with us and for you to meet.
M: Oh okay that's fine. You in Mark?
M.T: *Snaps out of it* Huh? Yeah yeah I'm in.

Jacob leaves the room to go call his friends to see if they wanted to come.

M: So do you want to eat before we go. Jacob made pancakes, but it took him forever to make them *Giggles*
M.T: *Laughs* Sure

I grabbed three plates and put 3 pancakes on two of them then 1 on mine because I don't eat that much. I went to Jacob's fridge and grabbed the orange juice and served them to all three plates. Once I put the juice away Jacob entered the kitchen.

J: They said yes and we have to meet them at starbucks in an hour. So that Melissa can meet everyone and then we'll walk to the park.
M: Okay sounds like a plan. Oh btw here's your food
I passed the plate to him and he smiled at me.
J: Thanks Beautiful

After he said that he kissed me on the cheek. I stood there smiling down because I'm pretty sure that I was blushing really hard heh.

~Mark's POV~

Jacob came back telling us that we have to meet at starbucks then go to the park. After he said all that Melssa passed him his breakfast and said "Thanks beautiful" and kissed her cheek. I saw her blushing as she was looking down. I gotta admit I was a little Jealous that he did that.

~Jacob's POV~

I can't believe I just did that!!!! It just came out of nowhere! I saw her looking down. I tried to see her face, I saw her smiling and I think blushing. Does she like me too? Nahh I think she's just in shock.

Mark and I finished our pancakes and Melissa didn't finish and she only had ONE pancake!

J: Hey Melissa are sure you're not hungry.
M: Yeah I'm full already. Are we gonna go? Or what?
J: Yeah come on let's go. I can't wait for you to meet everyone.
M.T: Me too you're gonna love everyone.
M: I'm a little nervous
J: You can grab my hand if you want.

Oh my gosh. That was stupid why would she grab my han-- My thoughts were interupted by a small soft hand in mine. I look down and smiled then looked up to her.

M: Thanks
J: No problem.

We just kept on smiling at each other. For a moment there I forgot about Mark until...

M.T: Okay can we go now!

He souned a little annoyed. Is there something bugging him. I shruged it off and then we left and walked to starbucks. Melissa was holding onto my hand the whole time. I kept on smiling like an idoit. I saw Mark look at our hands and he was looking a little upset.

J: Hey Mark are you okay you look a little upset.
M.T: Yeah man I'm fine
M: Are you sure?
M.T: Yeah I'm postive.
J&M: Okay if you say so.
