~Chapter 16~

~Jacob's POV~

I ran until I saw Melissa fall and started crying. I went up to her and called her out. She stood up and turned around.

I started walking up to her.
Me: Mel--
Mel: HOW COULD YOU?!?!?!
Me: Mel I'm sorry!! She kissed me!!
Mel: But YOU kissed back!! I saw you!
Me: I'm really sorry!! Please give me another chance!!
Mel: *Scoffs* Another chance? Why should I?
Me: Because I love you!!
Mel: IF you loved me then YOU wouldn't have kissed her back!!
I walked up closer to her.
Me: I do love you
Mel: But I DON'T LOVE YOU!!! Were over!!

She walked away. I started crying because I just lost the girl of my dreams. And she said that she doesn't love me. Then the gang came to me and told me that I messed up.

Weston: Dude you messed up badly.
Mark: How can you do that to her?!?!
Me: I don't know!!! I just want to get her back.
Sam: Well good luck with that
Me: Shut up! You are th- what?
Sam: I said good luck on winning her back.
Brandon: Why?
Sam: Cause Melissa doesn't get back with her exes.
Me: Exes?
Sam: Ohh she didn't tell you. Well Oops.

She started smirking. Is like she wanted us to break up. I got up and went home. I went up to my room and saw Melissa through my window. She was on the floor against her bed crying. I felt really bad, She saw me and closed her curtains. I started crying again.

~Two days later~

I haven't seen or talked to Melissa in two days. I really miss her. I looked out my window and saw Melissa on her bed looking at the celling above her. Wearing sweats and a sweatshirt. That's when I decided to go over to her house. I knocked and a deppressed girl came out with red eyes.

Mel: Jacob! What are you doing here?
Me: I just needed to see you. Can I come in?
She let me in and I grabbed her arm and went to her room. I sat on her bed and she came over and sat as well.

~Melissa's POV~

I was really surprised to see Jacob. He dragged me to my room and sat on my bed. I joined him and waited for him to talk.

Jacob: Mel I made a huge stupid mistake. I'm sorry!! Please please forgive me.
He grabbed my hands. I gave him a weak smile.
Me: Jacob...I forgive you.
He started smiling.
Me: But I can't be with you.
His smile disappeared.
Jacob: Why?
Me: I just don't want to get hurt again. And Jacob you really did hurt me.
Jacob: I'm sorry.
A tear fell down his face.
Me: Jacob...*Sighs* I really like you. But I just can't get hurt again I'm sorry.
Jacob: Melissa, I love you.
Me: I don't know what love is. Or how it feels like. I never felt loved, not by my parents, not even by Sam. By no one.

Jacob: Hey um speaking of Sam. She said that you had exes. I thought I was your first boyfriend.
Me: Oh uhh, you are my first kiss not my first boyfriend. Um in my old schools. Guys asked me out and I thought 'Hey why not give them a chance.' Turns out they only used me for my fame. To gain popularity, they would cheat on me too. When I break it off with them. They would beg me to take them back, and I said no. I don't get back with my exes. They all used me. And cheat on me.
Jacob: I would never use you. Or cheat on you.
I gave him the "really?" Look.
Jacob: Oh
Me: Also that's because you are already famous. Heh.

Me: But hey I feel like you should go ask Sam out though. She really likes you, I can tell by the way she looks at you. You'll start to like her.
Jacob: Are you sure? You won't mind.
Me: Yeah I'm sure. Anything to make her happy. Can we just go back to being best friends?
Jacob: Yeah yeah sure but, Can I at least get one last kiss?
Me: *Smiles* Sure

He smiled then started leaning in, I did too. Our lips touched and I felt that spark again. I wanted this to last because I won't get to feel those lips against mine anymore. The kiss ended up to be 3 minutes. He pulled away. I started tearing up, so did he. He got up, said goodbye and walked out the door. A tear fell from my face. I just sat there knowing that I lost the guy that I have dreamed of.

~Jacob's POV~

I had to feel her lips one more time. I felt the sparks again. Then it ended so I got up and walked out. Once I walked out of her room. Tears started falling out of my face. I lost the girl I love and she told me to go out with someone else. So I am going to do what she asked me to do.

Once I got to my room I called Sam and told her to come over to my house. Wow I can't believe I'm actually doing this. I feel like I'm cheating on Melissa. My thoughts were interupted by Sam.
She walked over to me.

Sam: Hey! What did you want to see me for?
Me: Uh...well you see..Uh.
I look out the window and I saw Melissa looking over here with tears in her eyes. Then she slowly noded her head telling me to ask her.
Me: Will you be my girlfriend?
Sam: YES!!! OF COURSE.

She grabbed my face and kissed me. I kissed back and I didn't feel anything. Nothing. I didn't feel the spark like I felt with Melissa. She pulled away and went over to Mel's house. I saw her burst into Mel's room and telling her everything that just happened. Melissa forced a smile. It crushed me to know that Melissa would give up anything to make other people happy. Even if she's the one who suffers.
