~Melissa's POV~
When we got to our house I told Jacob that I wanted to change first then go. He told me that it was fine so I was about to entered and I ran upstairs as fast as I can avoiding to be caught by my parents. That didn't go as well as I planned.
Mom: Where were you?!? Me: Why do you care? Mom: I don't Me: Then why bother asking Mom: Don't give me that attitude and it was your fathers Idea anyway.
I went inside my room and went through my boxes to find a dress that looked nice to wear over there. I was looking through until I spotted a mint green color dress with a white lace on the top. (Below👇🏼👇🏼)

I put it on and my sneakers cause I got no fancy shoes. I walked out of my room and my mother stopped me again.
Mom: Now where do you think your going? Me: Next door, they invited us to go over to get to know them. But since you and dad can't seem to get along for a night I decided to go on my own. Mom: You little bitch you think that they are going to like you when you dress up like a whore! And act like a sassy ass brat! Me: I'm not the whore in this house it's YOU!
She slapped me accross the face. I ran out with tears in my eyes. I was walking to Jacob's house but I started crying so I texted him to meet me outside.
~Jacob's POV~ I got ready for tonight and my mom was still making dinner. Then I got a text from Melissa
Her😍🔥💦: Hey... Me: Hey what's up Her😍🔥💦: The sky heh Me: 😂😂 nice one lol Her😍🔥💦: Heh I'm under the sky right now also...Can you please come outside in the front for a minute I need you right now. Me: Okay I'll be right there. I went downstairs and went outside and I saw a girl in a mint green dress. It was Melissa I heard crying so I went up to her.
Me: Melissa? She turned around I saw her crying so I didn't ask I just hugged her and she hugged back crying harder.
Me: Mel? What's wrong? Mel: My-My-My-Mot-Mother *Cries even more* Me: What did she do? Mel: She called me a Bitch and a whore and slapped me in the face. Me: Shh shh it's gonna be okay Mel: No it's-it's not. Nothing ever goes right for me. I'm just a disappointment and a waste of life. Me: NO YOUR NOT!!! You are NOT a disappointment and a waste of life! You are beautiful, talented, funny, cool, awesome, sweet, kind, loving person I've ever met. Mel: Really? Me: Absolutely Mel: Um..Thanks and thank you I really needed that. I let her go of the hug and she did as well. Me: You ready? Mel: Wait...does it look like I was crying?? Me: A little bit. Why don't we stay outside until it looks like you haven't Mel: okay
~a few minutes later~
Me: Okay we can go inside now Mel: *Sighs* okay
~Melissa's POV~
We entered the house and his house was big!! Jacob told his parents that I was here. And they greeted me inside their home. Even though I've been here before.
Mrs.S: Hello you must be Melissa. Woow you look wonderful in that dress. Me: Thank you. You look amazing too as do you too Mr.Sartorius. Mr.S: Thank you. What is your name? Me: Melissa Krystal. Nice to meet both you guys. Mr&Mrs.S: Nice to meet you too. Jacob's mom goes back to serve dinner. I thought I'd help her. Me: Oh! Here let me help you Mrs.S: Oh no dear that's okay Me: No it's fine I don't mind I like to help around anyways.
I grab the plates and set them at the table. And helped her set up the rest of the table. A few minutes later we finished setting up the table and it was time to call everyone.
Mrs.S: Melissa can you please call everyone. Me: Okay I walked to the living room to get everyone. Me: Hey guys dinner is ready. Mr.S: Okay thank you dear. Jacob go call Caroline. Me: Caroline?? Jacob: Yeah she's my older sister Me: Ohh okay
Jacob then went upstairs to call his sister. I walked back to the table and told Mrs.S that they are coming. When they came we all sat down and started to eat. They asked me questions so that they know who they living next to.
Care: So Melissa what school are you going to? Me: Well I went to school before but I kept on getting bullied and I went to school to school and kept on getting bullied. So my father took me out so now I do school online because my parents can't teach me. Mr.S: How so? Me: They are always figthing which makes me question their marrage. So my best friend told me to sign up for online school. Instead of them teaching me. Care: Ohh why do your parents fight Me: I rather not talk about it well at least not right now. Mrs.S: So hows your mother? Do you guys get along with eachother? I started to tear up Me: Excuse me
I got up and left to the bathroom where when I entered I slid down the door and started to cry again. Then I heard knocking and someone saying my name.
~Jacob's POV~
I saw Melissa Tearing up then getting up and go towards the bathroom.
Me: She said she didn't want to talk about it so why would you bring up her mother if you knew her parents fight!
I got up and ran to the bathroom Melissa was in and I heard crying so I tried to get her to open the door.
Me: Melissa? Melissa? Come on please open the door. It's me Jacob, Melissa please
Then I heard the door unlock so I opened it to see her on the floor with tears coming down her face. I closed the door and bent down and held her in my arms. I hate seeing her cry and in pain. I know I just met her but it felt like I knew her my whole life.
Me: You okay? Mel: No... I-I-I jus-just can't take it!!! I held her even closer and tighter. Mel: Why? Why me? Out of EVERYONE!! Why do I get this life? Me: Everything that happens. Happens for a reason. We may not know the reason but you know that it won't be like this forever right? Mel: I don't know. Everytime I am happy or someone/something makes me happy something always has to happen. Me: Do I make you happy? Mel: Yes. Why? Me: Am I gone? Mel: No... And I don't you to ever be gone. But I have this feeling that you are going to leave in the future. Me: I won't leave Mel: Promise? Me: I promise.
After that we fell asleep in each others arms on the bathroom floor. In the corner of the room. I won't leave her EVER. She's special to me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry if I keep on doing it day by day. I won't do it like that all the time. But anyways thanks for reading!
