Chapter 4

Tbh I'm binge eating icecream and writing this rn...ok carry on!! BTW I didn't edit this so....

Joey's POV:

"You'll be a good boys for Cat right?" I ask Nick and Max. "Yes sir" they answer in unision. I give them a sweet smile and thank Cat for watching the kids again.

"Get in the car loser we're going to eat!" Daniel says quoting Mean Girls, but changing the words slightly. He opens the door for me and I slide into the passenger seat then he walks to his side and gets in. "Let's go shall we?" He says in a funny voice. "We shall!" I answer trying to do the same voice, but failing. We both laugh and pull out of the driveway.

We pull up (on the block) to the restaurant and I gasp. "Daniel this is too nice, we can't eat here!" I say as he gets out of the car anyways. I open my door for it to only be shut back by Daniel. He opens the door and says, "I'm supposed to open the door." I blush and step out with the help of his hand. "Well thank you kind sir!" I chuckle.

We walk in and of course Daniel holds the door open for me again. "Hello, Do you have a reservation?" The greeter asks. Daniel proceeds to say his last name and we are led off towards the back of the restaurant by the greeter.

"Could we start you off with some wine perhaps?" The waitress asks as we're seated. "Red will be fine, thank you." Daniel says. The waitress turns and walks away. "So tell me about yourself!" Daniel says with a grin. "There isn't much, but I moved here from Boston a few days ago. I adopted Max when he was just a baby, he's changed my life. Ummm...that's about it." I say right as the waitress walks back with our wine pouring some in our glasses. "So, what would y'all like?" The waitress asks with a dreamy smile looking at Daniel. Oh hell no bitch back off he's mine!!

"I'll take a vegan steak (idk) Joey?" He looks at me with a questioning look. "Oh I'll take a Ceasars salad please." I say and the waitress looks at me with a disgusting face, staring for a minute. "Oh I'd like that now please." I say with a smirk. She walks away with a twitch in her eye. Daniel and I burst into laughter and the whole restaurant looks at us. We look away embarrassed still chuckling.

"Here you go!" The waitress says setting down Daniel's plate in front of him and then basically throwing mine. I thank her with a sweet smile. She goes to walk away, but I throw my foot out and she trips and falls. "Oh my god, are you ok?" I ask with a growing smirk as I help her up. "I'm just fine, thank you!" She spits out and then tuts off. "That was bad ass!" Daniel says laughing. I take a bow and then sit down and finish my dinner.

Me and Daniel finish our meals and we head to the park, we get out and walk. "So what's your life story?" I ask Daniel since he didn't get to tell me with the rude waitress interrupting. "I've moved to L.A. when I was about 14, I adopted Nick when he was also a baby, I also love soccer." He says rubbing the back of his neck.

I link our arms as we walk through the park. He smiles and we keep walking. "You're cute!" He says and I blush. "Why are you blushing Joseph?" He asks, it makes me blush harder and he just laughs. I smack his arm and he runs across the grass and I chase after him screaming, "YOU'RE DEAD PREDA!" Damn he's a fast runner! I finally catch up and jump onto his back and he falls down laughing. I straddle his hips and lean down to his ear and whisper, "You're a fast runner, I like seeing your plump ass from behind." His breathe hitches and I climb off of him and start walking toward the car with a smirk written on my face.

"What the hell was that for?" Daniel says as he catches up with me. "Whatsoever do you mean Daniel?" I ask with a sarcastic tone. He looks at me and pulls me into a long kiss and soon I'm leaning against the car. His tongue asks for an entrance, but I decline it teasing him. He squeezes my butt and his tongur finds its way aroumd my mouth, but he pulls away and whispers into my ear, "I bet yours is nicer though." He walks to the other side of the car and gets inside, I stand there until I hear a knock on the window. I look over at Daniel and he motions for me to get in.

"What the hell was that for?" I say quoting him from a few minutes ago. "Oh just a friendly gesture." He says with a smile. He starts the car and we head home.

"Thank you I had a lot of fun!" I say as we walk to my door. "Yeah, I wouldn't mind doing it again." I nod and smile unlocking the door to find the kids asleep on the couch. I look at them in awe and pull out my phone to take a picture. "They're so precious." I hear Daniel whisper from beside me. I look at him and lean into his side. "I really like you Joey." He says which makes the room seem to become hotter, but it was just a blush. I lean up and give him a long sweet kiss. Our lips go perfect together, just like peanut butter and Jelly.

"I really like you too." I say with a chuckle breaking the kiss. "Joey will you be my boyfriend?" He asks. "Well I don't know I th-" I was cut off with another kiss. "How about now?" He asks. I smile the biggest smile there could possibly be. "I would love to be. I was going to say even without that kiss, but it felt really promising!" I laugh and he joins in. "Oh y'all are home! Oh!" I pull away from Daniel and see Cat standing in the doorway. "I should probably go!" Daniel says with a blush on his cheeks.

He picks up Nick and I open the door for him. "I'll see you at practice tomorrow right?" He asks and I nod in response. I wave at him and dread closing the door knowing I'll be 50 questioned when I close it. I close the door and the first question comes, "Are y'all dating?!" Cat screeches running over to me.
