As we were hiking through the woods, I noticed some things about Christine. She was pretty, about my age (14), she had brown hair, brown eyes, and a beautiful smile. "So, fill me in on what happened in the last about 14 years?" "Well, it's the year 2018, July 2nd, and I'll tell you the rest later, these trees are bugged," She said. "So, what's your story? Shouldn't you be in high school?" I asked. She replied" After I learned that everything they were teaching us is a lie, I ran away, from home, from school, from humans." "So are you like me?" I asked " Do you have any powers?" She was silent for a minute and then said "Yes, air manipulation." "So, where are we?" I asked. "Northern Montana" she replied. Then we saw a meerkat drop from one of the trees to the ground I'm front of us. "Excuse me for being a know-it-all, but aren't meerkats native to, not here?" I never got an answer because the meerkat (this is gonna sound crazy) just turned into a human. "Well hi?" I said to the human girl standing right in front of me. She walked up to me and slapped me across the face. "That is for disappearing without telling me, mom, or dad!" She said. "Who are you?" I asked the girl. "Wait, you don't remember me?" She asked. Christine jumped in adding "he just came out of the stables a few hours ago." "So what's your name, who are you to me, and it's awesome that you can turn into a meerkat at will." I said. "She looked at Christine and said "I'm your sister, Astra, and i think the rest will have to wait until we get to the safehouse." We all turn around to the sound of a gunshot. "We gotta move," said Christine.
