I open my eyes to see a falcon sitting on my chest. "Shoo!" I yell and wave my arms. I tried to get up, but I fell back down. "Careful," Adive warns me. "You almost died. Both your legs are broken," I focus on my right leg and I feel it mend like it did before. I try to focus on my left, but I'm too weak. Me and Adive get up and I notice that she is cradling her left arm. "What's wrong?" I ask. "My left arm is broken," she answers. So, both of us with our handicaps, started to make out way up the Rio grande. I found a stick to be my makeshift crutch, and we found an old piece of boar skin for Adive's sling. She protested the idea saying that it was "Animalistic" and "disgusting" but you don't have a lot of options out here. So we hobbled up the wall on various ledges and pathways. We got to a cave and decided it was a good place to rest. So as we sat, I asked her, " So, what are the names of the other people in your group?" "Gibor is the boy that died, Paloma is his girlfriend, she's the one with the healing powers, Celeste is the one that you put to sleep earlier, Phoebe is the quiet one that has the barriers, Rayd is the short guy with strength, Jal is the invisibility guy, and Taesha is the girl with sound manipulation." She answered. We talked the rest of the way up and we became friends in the about fourteen hours we hiked. When we got to the top, we saw nobody. Then we walked fir a while and saw everyone. There was lots of hugs and tears, but we made it out. We had done it. We survived.
