Giant Mutated Hawk Snake thingies

Christine woke up about halfway through Colorado. Yes I was a little disappointed, she had a cute way of breathing while she slept. Anyways she blushed and looked a little embarrassed when she woke up because she was sleeping on me. "It's ok, I don't care," I assured her as she apologized. So everyone sat and talked for a little while until the train came to an abrupt stop. We all looked around and dismissed it as nothing, but then the train tilted to the side, and was then lifted off the rails. I melted the side of the train to let people escape. I then grabbed everyone and flew out of the gigantic hole I made in the train. I spread wings, (Which surprised me a great deal) and hovered above the train. I set my friends on the ground and flew up to where the beasts were. They had hawk wings, a snake head, hawk talons, and a snake body and tail. There were three of them so I thought I could take them. They all flew at me and tried to attack me all at once. I thought of a barrier around me and the birds went around me. One can back and as it was charging at me, I held out my hand, like I was telling it to stop, let it come in contact with my palm and smited it. Its eyes, mouth, and nose glowed white. Then it fell put of the sky. I looked at the other two as they flew away. I look down and see people recording me on their phones. I break all their phones and fly back to my friends. "Let's go, police will be here soon and I want to be far away from here," I say. We walk for about three miles and then decide to stop. We weren't getting to Texas anytime soon. We were gonna be stuck here for a while.
