Today you were going to let go of the most important person in your life. Your boyfriend Thomas. He would be moving to a whole different state , you knew long distant relationships never work so the both of you agreed on taking break.

You went with him to the airport to say one last goodbye. "Promise me you won't forget about me ?" You smiled up at him , as he held your hands in his. "How could I ever forget about you beautiful" placing a soft kiss on your lips.

Gosh I'm going to miss that. You thought to yourself , a tear slipping from your eyes. You sat down by him , your head resting on his shoulders. "Do you really have to go -" you started off before getting interrupted by the sound of his voice.

Thomas looked at you with soft eyes , caressing your cheeks "If it was my choice , I wouldn't y/n" his eyes began to get watery "Then stay , maybe you don't have to move in with your mom ! Y-you can stay with your dad , here , home" you rambled on , you knew he couldn't do that.

"I can't y/n" he mumbled a tear falling down his cheek. "I know" you whispered into his ear as he embraced you into a tight hug , resting your head into his chest. Taking in his scent , how his arms felt around your body , the warmth of his embrace.

"Gosh I'm going to miss you" he chuckled lightly , kissing you one last time. It was nothing but soft and passionate , enjoying every second of his soft lips on yours. Your hands around the collar of his shirt bringing him as close as possible to you.

Slowly he began to pull away as the last call was announced. "I love you y/n , I promise you this isn't the last goodbye" was the last thing he said to you before getting onto the plane.

"I really hope this isn't" you mumbled to yourself , as tears stilled dropped from your eyes as you began to walk to your car.

You still couldn't believe that he was gone just like that. Staring at all the old photos the both of you took , one of them being a picture of you two at the carnival. His arms wrapped you with a huge smile across his face , you smiled back at with while caring the huge teddy bear he won you.

Tears started falling down your cheeks again , and also when rain started pouring down. "Mother nature , you understand me so well" you mumbled.

When suddenly a noise began by your window , taking a look you see a figure outside on your lawn. You made your way down and open the door to see Thomas standing out in the pouring rain "Thomas ?" a huge smile on your face as you hugged him , not caring at all that you were getting soaked from the pouring rain.

His lips crashed on yours. It was like those romantic movies , how the guy would be in the rain and the girl comes running into his arms as they kiss in the rain. And this moment , was much more than that.

It was like the whole world stopped just for the both of you. You pulled away from his lips "Y-you came back" you stuttered looking into his chocolate brown eyes , a huge grin painted on his face.

"I told , that wasn't the last goodbye"
