Emily's POV:
"LIAM!? I thought you were supposed to be on your way home." I said running up to him and giving him a hug.
"Well I wanted to spend my week off with you." He smiled as he embraced me in a hug. I looked up at him, frowned, and let go.
"I thought I told you to go home. Your mom must really miss you." He walked past me into the living room/kitchen.
"I-" He started before my mom walked out of her room.
"Em can you take out the tra- Why is there a Popstar in our house?" My mom asked with a confused expression on her face. I laughed at her facial expression.
"Hi ma'am I'm-" Liam started.
"First off you can call me Vale and second let me guess which one you are. Not Zayn, you don't have a ZAP! Tattoo on your arm. Not Harry, your hair isn't curly. Definitely not Niall because your accent is British not Irish. So it's either Liam or Louis-" I just rolled my eyes. Liam was laughing
"Mom how can you not know? It's not like I don't talk about them or have posters on my wall with their names clearly written on them." I said annoyed. And then my mom laughed.
"Hi nice to meet you Liam." My mom said putting out her hand for him to shake. He graciously took it and shook it.
"Mom can I borrow the car, I wanna show Liam around here. Please." I gave her my best pouty lip. She shook her head.
"Fine just get back before dad. You know he doesn't like you using the car." She said pointing at the keys on the hook.
"Thank you mommy, love you." I hugged her and grabbed the keys.
"Love you munchy. Drive safe please." She said. I rolled my eyes.
"Kk bye, c'mon Liam." I grabbed Liam's hand and we left.
Liam's POV:
We walked outside and towards the SUV her mom owned. She unlocked the car and we went to get in.
"Hey Em." She turned around to where the male voice was coming from. A boy around our age was walking over towards us. He had dark brown hair that was put up a bit. He was wearing loafers, pastel shorts and a crewneck pastel shirt.
"Hey Rob. How goes it?" she asked with a smile.
"Good. Whose this guy?" He asked. He looked uncomfortable as I put my arm around her shoulder. She looked at me.
"Rob this is Liam. Liam this is Rob." She said smiling up at me.
"Hey mate I'm Liam." I said putting a hand out to shake his.
"Robbie. British huh Em?" He said mockingly. I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah why?" She said sassily.
"Touché, just thought you liked a real man." He retorted. I curled my hands into fists. Emily put her hand on my fist and I instantly relaxed.
"He is a real man. He doesn't wear freaking pastels like it's in style, which btw it's not, like half of the boys in this town do. He actually dresses like a man not like a freaking Easter egg barfed all over him. Just cause you play Hockey and work out doesn't make you're a real man." She said pissed. He scoffed.
"Then tell me what do you think a real man is?" He retorted. She began to speak but I cut her off.
"A real man treats a woman like a princess no matter what." I growled. Emily looked up at me and smiled.
