Emily’s POV:

I’m worn and tired of all the bullsh*t. I have been for the longest time, but I think I have finally reached my breaking point. I have felt this way before. I have felt the numbness, the self-loathing, and the pain as if you will lose everything at the snap of your fingers.

I felt vulnerable and I hated it. I shouldn’t let her get to me, I shouldn’t let what just happened effect my life and my relationships, but I can’t help but feel like everybody will now turn their backs on me because of all the drama and annoyance my presence has brought.

I was in no way leaving Liam because I love him. I smile slightly at that thought. I turn to look down at his head that rest in my shoulder as he sleeps next to me. He has me tightly in an embrace as if I was going to leave him. That is something I could never do because I’m in too deep. The only thing that could possibly split us is if he chooses that he doesn’t want me anymore. I really hope that day never comes.

The sound of my phone beeping is what set me out of my daze. I take my hand from Liam’s for a moment to grab my phone that was on the end table that was next to the bed. I grab it and look to see that it’s a text from Melanie.

Melanie: I heard you just go home. Hope your flight was good.

Me: Yeah it was fine and the welcome party was great until b*tch face decided to show up.

Melanie: Doesn’t she live there?

Me: She hasn’t been living in that building sense she let that information ‘slip’ from her lips.

Melanie: So basically she decided to show her face the day that you get back.

Me: I think she knew I was home because of the media. She wouldn’t have if I hadn’t come home I feel. But she had a lot of freaking balls to show up tonight. I pretty much blew up in her face. I actually almost punched her and I wouldn’t if Liam didn’t stop me. I’m glad he did.

Melanie: Wow it got that serious? I’m surprised because I know you wouldn’t hit someone unless you felt the need was necessary.

Me: Yeah well she taunted and teased and basically mocked me and I finally hit the point where I just didn’t give a sh*t. Liam brought my sight back to normal instead of the red that I was seeing.

Melanie: B*itch deserved for what she did regardless.

Me: I know but I don’t like using violence to solve an issue. There is usually a solution to a problem that doesn’t use violence.

Melanie: yeah I get it. Thank god for Liam though ;)

Me: :P Anyway how are things back home?
