I will call future Percy Caleb and Percy Percy.
Caleb's POV
I needed a lot of explaining.
Most of them didn't like it. Some weren't sure. Some just didn't understand.
Nobody agreed though.
I understood that nobody wanted to fight.
But I couldn't imagine myself going against me.
"This isn't our fight."
"It-"
"I understand that it will be in the future, but we don't have to fight now, do we? We can earn a lot more time if you just go."
I didn't know what to say because he was so right.
"Yeah. Even if you look like Percy, you could be a traitor."
"I am Percy! And I'm not a traitor!"
Clarisse shrugged. "Prove it."
I slapped her in the face with some water and she glared at me, her face dripping wet.
"You-"
"What."
She faltered a little and I took the chance to turn back to Percy.
"You should know."
He stared at me for a long time, and swallowed.
"Honestly, you don't seem like me." He paused. "I wouldn't put the camp in danger because I wanted my life back." He bit his lip. "It does sound tempting, but this is just killing everyone again."
"You can't be me." He flinched at the look in my eyes. "Or you could of changed-"
"Changed."
Percy froze. I stood up.
"How could you not change for over 5 years in war? How could you not want your life back after everyone died!" My voice rose.
There was silence in the recreation room.
I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.
"Whatever."
I started to go out.
"Where are you going to go?"
"Olympus."
I walked out of the big house, ignoring the campers staring at me. I fingered Riptide in my pocket. The more I thought about this obvious situation made me feel like I was suffocating.
"Wait!"
I looked back to see Percy running up to me.
"You don't even have money for a cab, don't you?"
I scowled. "Why would you care?"
"The gods aren't going to listen to you."
"So you want me to give up?"
"Lets go and see."

Percy's POV
I wanted to know more.
I was curious what I would be like- what would become of me.
He buckled up, taking care of his left shoulder.
"What's wrong with your shoulder?"
"None of your business."
I wanted to say something, but unfortunately he was right. I shut up and stared outside the window while the taxi driver glanced at us, obviously confused.
