Paige

After Lucas left I started thinking about our pass. We were in love at a young age, I chuckled at the thought of that.

"Ms. Lady" I heard Abby small voice. I look down to see Abby looking just like Lucas.

"Yes little Lucas" her smile lit up

"Me hungry" she said playing with her fingers, I pick her up on my right side walking over to the refrigerator.

"Okay so pick something out" I said looking at her, she pointed to the chicken tenders. I took them out turning on the oven and putting the rest in the pan.

"Call me Paige lovebug me and your dad not strangers." I said pinch her cheeks. She nodded.

**** 6:45 pm

Lucas

I was getting out of practice when my phone ring, it was Paige.

"Wassup?" I ask driving with one hand and place my phone on speaker sitting it on my lap.

"Where are you? I gotta go" she said whining on the phone. 

"Pulling up now" I said parking my Benz, I hung up the phone going in the house.

"Finally, she's sleep in the room upstairs I'll go get her." Paige said bout to get up.

"Paige sit down, we need to talk" I said getting comfortable on the love seat. She looked at me stupid.

"I have work in.." She paused to check her watch. "In ten minutes"

"alright well I promise you won't be late, all I need is 5 minutes." I said she sat back down.

"Start" I looked at her and took a deep breath.

"Paige, I know this is unbelievable because I know you still remember the old me. But I fell in love with you, I miss you like hell. When you left, I couldn't do nothing but blame myself. I was young, not only me we were young... But we promised each other a future Paige, that's just not something you forget about. Not your first love" I said looking into her eyes.

I look at the man sitting before me telling his feelings. I couldn't believe what he was saying, I then realized we're both in love still. I shook my head and got up.

"So what that mean? You just wanna get back together? It's not that easy with me" I said bout to walk upstairs to get his daughter. I felt a tight grip on my arm.

"Paige, I wanna prove to you I'm worth it. I wanna show you how much I love you, I wanna prove to you I'm willing to fight for you" he said.

I was speechless, i just hope he wasn't lying. I got lose of his grip and went to one of the guest room to get Abby. We came down stairs , soon as Abby saw Lucas she ran and jump to him.

"I gotta get to work." I said opening the door and leading them out, I lock my door behind me walking to my car I was stop.

"Just tell me you'll think about it" Lucas said. I simply nodded.

It's been a long night and I'm tired, I decided to the third floor to get some snacks. As I was walking down the hall I could barley keep my eyes open, I miss and bump into someone.

"Oh I'm so sor-" he was bout to say I look up to see the one and only fine ass Tony.

"Paige?" He ask with excitement. I smiled

"Tony! How are you?" I ask giving him a hug.

"Amazing you know I play ball now" he act like he was shooting a basketball.

"I see youuu" I said laughing, he also giggled.

"You know in school we never really had a chance to hook up" he flashed his Pearl white teeth, making me smile.

"You've liked me huh"

"Sum like that" he giggled.

"When you get off?" He ask

"12, I know I know. We can do something tomorrow afternoon?" I ask

He nodded and gave me his number. " I gotta go but use that to text or call me" I smiled as a thank you.
