Lectures about vampires

I woke up not knowing what time it was but I was still at Eric's bar. The only thing that was different was I had a blanket over me and I was laying my head on a pillow. I sat up and looked around I found my bag next to me on the floor I fished out my phone and looked at the time it was getting near to 7:30am. I sat back and groaned this reminds me of when I go attacked and I woke up exactly like this but without the blanket and now I know a lot more people and they know me. I got up from the sofa and walked over to the desk to find a note on it. Feeling curious I picked it up and read it, it said:
'Lara, I know you were tired so I didn't bother waking you. I also thought you'd be hungry so I got Ginger to go out and get you some food which is in the microwave, also there is juice in the fridge for you enjoy and if you leave before dark I'll see you at your work.'-Eric. I looked at the back of the paper to find a phone number I saved it in my phone under Eric I guessed it was he's number. I went over to the microwave and got out a take out bag and I got the juice then sat back on the sofa and started eating. I guess when you hang around vampires you forget to eat as they don't eat, I was so hungry though so I was glad I had food. I got to remember to thank Eric. Thinking about Eric I thought back to my dream about the beach and him and thinking about how perfect it would be, but I know it'd never happen he'll burn if he walks out in the sun.
I was caught up in my thoughts but my phone snapped me out of it someone was calling me it was mom I answered. "Hello mom." I said trying to act like nothing has happened. "Lara! Oh good so your still kicking then? I haven't heard from you in 3 weeks I was starting to get worried. I called Sam and he said you were setting in well at work and everyone loves you. So I'm guessing you like it as well?" My mom said yes mom I like it I also like the vampire called Eric. I was about to say something to her when someone came into the office. "Morning Lara just coming to check on you Er..." I held my hand up to Ginger and mouthed that I was talking to my mom she nodded and mouthed okay then tiptoed out of the office. Oh Ginger, she does make me laugh I giggled. "Lara! Who was that?" "Huh? Oh she was a friend I meet last week." "Aw Lara your making so many friends good for you. Oh Lara lets talk boys! Have you come across someone yet? I hear Sam's quite the ladies man." She said laughing oh mom if only you knew. I looked at the time and it was nearly time for work. "Er mom can we talk later I need to go to work I'll call you tomorrow or something bye!" I said hanging up, grabbing my stuff walking out of the office I saw Ginger on a stool reading. "Hey Ginger I've got to go work looks like your enjoying yourself." I said jokingly she looked up from her book and smiled. "I don't normally come here this early but when you stay in the bar I come in to check on you since Eric sleeps." "Oh well thanks I guess. You worked for Eric long?" "15 years I'm like the person that will clean and make sure everything is perfect for when the bar opens." Ginger said she sounds like she enjoys doing what she does. "Wow that's a long time. Anyway I've got to go otherwise I'll be late see you around Ginger." I said then leaved the bar walking to work.
When I got there I saw Sam standing outside, I walked over to him. "Lara right on time. Did you go for a walk or something your house is the other direction ain't it?" Shit I'm going to get another lecture of these guys. Stand your ground Lara tell him and don't be afraid. "Hey Sam, Lara. So what we talking about?" Shit now I've got to deal with Tara. "Hey Tara Lara was now about to tell me why she came from the other direction from her house." Sam said looking at me now Tara was looking at me my confidence is going down. "Erm yea I was somewhere at Fangtasia actually I kind of fell asleep there Eric picked me up last night to go there. He wanted me to see what he's bar looked like when it was open and in full party mode." I said and huffed smiling and myself surprised I got through saying that. I looked up at Tara and Sam they had their mouths open. They're not happy. "Lara! You have any idea what Eric's like?! He manipulate people he's had years practising he's a cold hearted prick! And you should stay away from him Lara!" Tara said then stormed in the restaurant. I looked back at Sam who was shaking he's head. "Just ignore her Lara she over does her speeches. I know Eric more then her but not enough to tell you to watch yourself. Tara hates all vampires that's why she's acting like she did. As for me I don't mind vampires but some are evil and can manipulate I doubt Eric will let you come across them kind of vampires. I've noticed he's taking quite a shine to you it's not like him." Not like Eric to what? Talk to a human? "Hum. Haven't notice anything strange. He's kind to me I haven't had no trouble with vampires." Yet. I thought to myself. "Just be careful we care about you Lara and we don't want you to get hurt in any way." I do understand Sam he looks after he's friends and I respect him for that. "Anyways enough talking let's get in the restaurant before people start moaning no one's working." Sam said I giggled and nodded he put he's arm round my shoulders and we walked in the restaurant and I go straight to work, after helping stock up the fridges quickly.
