"We just talked that's all! God why does it bother you lot anyway?! You say keep away from that guy he's bo good, he's trouble he's this he's that if you gave me the answers I wanted maybe I wouldn't have to talk to him like you want me to." I was trying not to shout but it wasn't working I can't believe after a couple of days I was arguing with my work mates and its been going on like this all day now it's half 11 and I can not wait till closing time. "Lara we're just trying to protect you." "Tara I want to know exactly what your trying to protect me from why won't any of you talk to me?!" "Its because they don't like us I told you that already I thought." We all turned round to see Eric sitting on a stool right in front of us. "Listen here Eric you stay away from Lara she doesn't need you interfering with her live." I looked at Eric he seemed to be getting pissed at Tara maybe she should back down off this fight. "Me? Interfering? Would I ever do something so awful?" He said smiling, he's so witty I try not to laugh as I needed to pee I decided to walk away to go to the toilet. As I was walking down the corridor I heard Tara shouting again. "See look she finally got her sense and walked away from you just keep away from her Eric I mean it!" Trust Tara and her big mouth I shook my head. As I finished in the bathroom I headed back to where I leaved Tara arguing with Eric it seemed a little quite as I turned the corner I see why looks like Eric invited he's friends along. God I am too tired for dealing with this bullshit tonight. "What's going on here Tara?" "Sam can you tell these blood-sucking basteds to leave people alone!" "What? Who? What people are they tormenting?" "Argh! For the last fucking time I am not bothering no one I'm pretty sure she'd tell me if I did though, I was just answering her questions that you lot didn't want to answer. Don't you think as she's new she deserves to know about the town she's living in?" "Your talking about Lara? Where is Lara anyways? She was here a minute ago." So here I am walking home to get away from the chaos not even a week yet and I'm so pissed already. I got home slammed the front door then got my phone I needed to call my mum. "Hi hunny how are you I heard you work at the local bar good for you!" "Mom! What's with this place the people I work with don't talk to me when I asked them about these certain people and about this mansion that's near the house. So what gives do you know anything and don't you dare lie to me!" "Lara hunny you probably don't know that Bon Temps is best known for erm how do I put this ermm vampires." I started to laugh really hard okay my mom has finally lost it. "Mom you can not be serious!" I said and started to laugh again hoping my mom will join in but she never does meaning she's dead serious. "Mom your joking right? But vampires ain't real they're myths." "No Lara they are real you'll know if you see one as they will only come out during night and they'll be really pale oh and they'll drink blood quite a lot." "Er blood just like tru blood?" "Yes exactly." "Erm mom I've gotta go I'll talk to you later." I hanged up with her that drink I served Eric must of been... Blood Ergh! So disgusting! I feel like throwing up there's something seriously wrong with this town. I've gotta eat something as I'm walking towards the kitchen I hear someone knocking on the front door. Oh God if it's Tara I'm gonna have to try really hard not to punch her he didn't even do anything wrong. "Tara I rea..." "Lara." "Erm Eric what are you doing here?" "Oh you know just walking around the neighbourhood and decided to stop by you alright?" "Yeah why wouldn't I be? I perfectly super, so so so fine." I said through gritted teeth. "Er yeah I can see that. We're you talking to your mom about me?" "Erm yeah how'd you..." I didn't need to finish that he's a fucking vampire no wonder they wanted me to keep away from him. "Listen Eric it's getting late I better go to bed I've got a long day tomorrow and I still need to unpack." "You know about me then? Your mom surely know everything about this town. And before you run off screaming to your bedroom I can't enter your house without your permission like I'd hurt you anyway." He said and scoffed. "So why does everyone that works at the bar want me to keep away from you then?" "Like I said they don't like vampires, they don't like it when we drink blood they think it's disgusting and horrible." Right now I'm feeling so sorry for Eric just because him and some others are different normal people treat them like shit, maybe I should tell Tara and the rest of the guys to take it easy on them or maybe I should keep my mouth shut as I don't really know what vampires are really like so I shouldn't be so quick to judge them. Argh I'm so confused right now! "Listen I've gotta go now Lara I've got a club to run I'll probably see you some other day or something see you." As I'm about to say something he's gone like in a flash. Maybe I should keep my distance from them I don't want to get into trouble before I even get a chance to probably make close friends. I'll just keep to my work mates good side at the moment then we'll see what it's really like living here. I just hope I don't run a fowl of the vampires being on their bad side might be worse then being on the locals bad side.
