"Well, well, well, Lara did something happen last night there's clothes all over the floor." Shit I forgot about Eric's clothes! I quickly picked them up and threw them in the cubby where Eric was. "So who is he?" Trust my mom to try and get information out of me. "No one mom just a friend." "A friend that takes he's clothes off? Strange. Where is he then? Is he still asleep?" Crap what am I suppose to say about that? "Erm I don't know where he is he probably leaved." "Without he's clothes? Okay then Lara. You find the weirdest boys." Says you! "How long were you planning on staying?" Hopefully not long please leave before dark. "Don't know we can stay the night and do something tomorrow." "Oh erm okay." Shit shit shit how am I gonna explain Eric to them?! "Lara what's that wardrobe doing down here? Shouldn't it be upstairs?" "Erm no I need one down here for like you know shoes and other bits." Please stop with the questions. "Oh okay well it's a nice wardrobe anyways. Looks like you've made yourself at home here looks really comfy and homey." Yeah if only you knew all its secrets. I looked out of the window that was behind where mom and Bob were sitting to see Sam walking this way crap! "Er mom, Bob please excuse me I got to take out the rubbish be right back." I said and grabbed the bin bag and ran outside, nearly running into Sam. "Whoa, Lara what's up with you?" "Mom... Bob... In my... House... Gotta... Get... Rid... Of... Them... Now!" I said breathless from running. "Lara your mom is here? Why do you want to get rid of her if she's here to see you? And who's Bob?" "Bob is apparently my mom's 'friend' and ermm I kinda got someone over." I looked down at the floor avoiding all eye contact. "Who? Lara... Oh no it's not... Eric is it?" I looked up at him I need to tell the truth. "Yeah it is... But in my defence he wanted to hang out at the house and I said yes well not really he invited himself over and it got too late for him to go back so he's asleep in he's cubby. Did you knew he had a cubby in my house?" "Yes back when he use to own it he build it for himself. Anyways Lara! You've got a vampire in your house what is your mom gonna say?" Just when I was going to say something a idea popped into my head. "Why don't you take them out tonight till I can get Eric out of the house?" "No Lara she's your mom she deserves to know who's living in the house she brought for you." Argh Sam! He's right at some point I guess I'm going to have to tell her. "Fine but can you be with us when Eric wakes up so you can say to my mom and Bob that Eric is a good guy? Please!" I was literally begging him to stay at the house with us. "Okay Lara lets go then." Yes! "Oh thank you Sam I owe you big!" "Yeah just turn up to work then we're even." Shit forgot about work.
When we walked in the house my Mom and Bob were talking but they notice us walking in. "Mom this is Sam my boss, Sam my mom Violet and that's Bob." I said and sat opposite them so I could look at the wardrobe that Eric will be coming out of at night. "Violet, Bob nice to finally meet you." "Ah so your the famous Sam everyone talks about." Oh God mom likes him she's going to embarrass me.
6 hours later
Well it's now coming up to 9:30pm it's dark out Sam, mom and Bob are still talking ever since the sun went down my eyes have been glued to the wardrobe what's taking Eric so long? As if on cue the doors slowly opened I leaned back on the sofa holding my breath. Sam noticed as well the wardrobe movement but he continued talking. Eric stepped out of the wardrobe not making a sound when he shut the door he turned around and looked surprised to see others sitting before him. He looked at me confused I gave him a 'sorry' look but he then smiled at me I couldn't help but giggled at him. My mom noticed and looked behind her and almost jumped out of her seat Bob almost did the same. Crap here we go. Eric walked over to me the Sat down next to me so I was in the middle of Sam and Eric now. "Mom this is Eric. He came from the wardrobe." I said leaning against him as he put he's arm round me. "Hey Sam fancy seeing you here." "Eric. Lara wanted me here to explain to her mom why your here." I had to stop myself from laughing I love the way these guys talk to each other. "And why is he here? And how did he come from the wardrobe?" "It's he's cubby Mom he sleeps during the day." "During the day? Cubby? Wait is he a vampire?!" Oh wow she got it straight away. "Bingo." Eric muttered I shushed him. Please don't be sarcastic around my mom. "Okay listen, from what I've learned over the years and from my experience living here I have had no trouble with Eric he's seems like a okay guy so you shouldn't worry about him around your daughter. In fact you should be honoured that he's around your daughter he can protect her more then most people round here." Wow Sam thanks for that I smiled at him and he smiled back. "I said that as I've got to go back to the restaurant and make sure everything is locked up now. Lara I'll see you at work tomorrow. Eric. Violet. Bob nice seeing you all." Sam said at saw himself out. I looked at my mom who was now about to say something. "So you two are like... a thing?" What is she getting at. "Yes you can say that." Eric answered for me. My mom just looked at me. "You two happy together?" Bob said and I answered before Eric could. "Yes we are happy more then happy actually." I said leaning more into Eric watching my mom's shocked face. She wanted me to have a guy in my life but she doesn't obviously like this one. I can't win either way!
