CHAPTER FOUR

(Nox POV)

"Oh, Noxy!" Sang a farmiliar voice- one I've been hearing an awfully lot lately. I growled, spinning around. Teddy bounded to my other side, and we began to walk again. I was on my way to breakfast, along side Brose. The last thing I needed was Teddy fooling around, annoying me.

The blue-haired boy grinned mischeviously, and I knew he had something to say. He cleared his throat, then leaned in. "I've happen to stumbled across a valuable piece of information last period in the girls lavatory."

He sounded proud, but I frowned in disgust at him. "What the bloody he'll were you doing in the girls lavatory?" I demanded, revolted atthe thought of Teddy sneaking around in there. Suddenly, I lost my sence of privacy. Brose rolled his eyes. "Don't ask." He advised. I pushed the mater away, focusing on this supposed 'valuable information' he claimed to be withholding. I don't even know why he was coming to me with this.

I wrapped my arms around myself, moving with the crowd of people a lot taller than me for the most part. "Anyway, what is this 'valuable information', hmm?" I pressed, secretly eager to find out. I wanted to know every secret passageway and discover very exciting secret of this place. Adventure awaited me, calling my name out with hunger. I yerned for the thrill.

Teddy moved his eyebrows up and down, wagging them at me. "I overheard a few sixth year Ravenclaw girls chattering about a dangerous secret chamber within the school. One that was once opened, long ago, and again, only sixteen years ago." He gushed.

Excitement bubbled within me. A secret chamber? Without this very castle? Dangerous? I giggled, grabbing both the boys hands. "Perfect!" I squealed, and proceeded to drag then back the way we came.

Brose protested. "Where in Merlins bears do you think your dragging me off to?" Brose snapped in defiance. I was too excited to take offense to his snide tone, however. Finally! Just the second day here, I get a spectacular adventure! "The girls lavatory, of course!" I said in a 'duh' tone.

Teddy laughed, thrilled of my acceptance to his plan. "Brilliant! I'll show you which one!" He bounded ahead, and Brose attempted to stop me. "This is stupid and dangerous, Nox." He made a futile attempt at tugging me back, but I resisted. I looked back at him. "Oh, come on, Brose! It'll be fun! Inticing! Don't you want to have an adventure?" I asked, big black eyes excited, sparkling with the thrill.

Brose looked as if he thought it was the furthest thing fro excitement, but rolled his eyes and sighed. "No. But I suppose I'll go, since that idiot Gryffindor boy may attempt to molest you if I don't." He retorted. I laughed aloud, glad he agreed and I didn't have to keep dragging him against his will. I stepped up my speed.

Once we got to the correct one, Teddy put his hands on his hips, proud. I gave a bored look around. "This is it? The place looks abandoned." I snorted. In fact, the place looked as if no one ever came in here. Silent as a grave.

Until a shreik sounded, sending me jumping onto Brose. He caught me, but quickly pushed me away. The voice squealed and moaned, whining. I looked at Teddy, confounded. "Is this a joke, Lupin?" I ordered. He appeared just as dumbfounded as I felt. "No! I swear!" He raised his hands in defense.

"The. Where is the secret chamber?" I demanded, getting angry and annoyed by the screaming and crying girl. Then, the moaning stopped. I bit my lips. Merlin. Now the girl in here would know we were up to something. I facepalmed. A stall door swung open hard, hitting the side with a loud bang. I jumped.

A white, ghostly figure emerged from the doors, her long brown hair intel braids over her shoulders, and round glasses perched atop her pointy nose. A ghost. Which is odd and awkward, considering this was where girls bathed and used the bathroom. Curious choice to haunt. "Who are you?!" She spat. I pushed my petite black eyebrows together, looking up at her. "Who are YOU?!" I shot back, crossing my arms.
