I see beauty in many things,
Not in material things,
In life.
Siblings, bonded for life,
Laughing together, enjoying one another.
A father teaching his son
A skill,
He carry with him forever.
A child, so young,
Showing compassion for those who are in pain.
An elderly couple,
Holding hands, still looking lovingly into each other's eyes.
A community,
Coming together,
To celebrate independence.
A babies laugh,
That tickles your very soul,
Making you join right in.
The look given,
When you hand a struggling woman,
Raising her children's children,
A paid bill receipt and money for her and the children.
Traumatized youth,
Who thought their lives were nothing,
Wanting to live life because of you.
A broken family,
Working together to make a change.
There's so much beauty in the world,
Not from things that can be bought,
But from the things that surround you.Live life laughing
