Dark skin, with a beautiful heart,
Was treated differently than those surrounding him.
He was looked at with indifference,
Judgement.
Why can't you fit the mold?
Be more like us,
Believing only what has been taught by the oppressor.
Believe boy, your name is Toby.
Still trapped within themselves,
While the beautiful dark skin has opened his mind,
Connecting with the world.
You see him from inside your box.
His differences scare your very soul,
Causing your side eye.
Don't mind the ugly fuckling,
He's crazy, off the rocker, not falling into the norm.
You do know that those we cannot understand must be damned.
Condemned.
Don't be afraid because he can stand up!
Put aside your fears,
And
Live life!
