Frostheart sat in pain. So much pain!
It was sunhigh and Frostheart had started kitting a quarter moon after Turtleclaw's kitting.
So many feelings and thoughts were running through Frostheart's head. Fear, excitement, and many many more.
"I see the first kit." Mountainpeak meowed. Soon a little ball of golden fur laid in the nest. Mountainpeak handed the kit to Ryefang to lick. Soon another kit of bronze fur was handed to Turtleclaw.
Frostheart felt exausted. "Come on, stay awake theres still another one." Mountainpeak meowed.
Soon a ball of silver fur laid in the nest which was given to Ryefang. Mountainpeak felt Frostheart's belly. "Theres still another one!" exclaimed Mountainpeak.
By now Frostheart felt like she had nothing left. Frostheart forced herself to stay awake.
A little time later a small scrap of brown fur landed in the nest. Quickly the other queens cleaned up the kits and placed them at Frostheart's belly. "Two toms and two she kits." Ryefang announced.
Frostheart smiled before falling asleep but not before she heard Mountainpeak. "I don't think this little brow tom will make it through the night."
.....................................

Frostheart looked down at the four kits suckling at her belly. The little tom had made it through the night and now was wiggling with the rest of his siblings.
"What are you going to name them?" asked Turtleclaw. "Where's Lionclaw? We need to name them." yawned Frostheart.
Turtleclaw and Ryefang shared a long look. "He told us to tell you, you can name them." Ryefang meowed.
Frostheart's ears flattened against her head. Lionclaw had skipped out on the birth saying that he needed to patrol and now he was skipping out on their naming.
"Well this golden tom sould be called Goldkit, this bronze she kit will be named Bronzekit, this silver she kit will be Silverkit and this brown tom..." Frostheart looked at the little tom. He was so small... "He will be known as Heartkit because he will need heart to battle what difficulties come for him."
