"Bye," I say as I open the door to Cameron's truck.

"Hey isn't the man supposed to open the door for the lady?," he questions.

"Can this man just shut up and leave his girlfriend's house without judging her kind decisions?," I shoot back.

"Bye," he says, and giving me a kiss before I close the door.

   *3 weeks later*

I cut my hair during the weekend so the dyed ends are gone. I went shopping -with Katie- and got more clothes that are less black. Now I feel like a normal girl and not a "Freak."

I been dying to surprise Cameron with a new and fashionable me. Also this is the first I've announced to someone about Cameron and I dating. Cameron has been keeping this from everyone and he told his football friends that we were joking, but they "knew" that already.

"Wait," Katie said stopping in the middle of the road," he just made out with you and BOOM your dating."

"One: come on before you get run over," I say pulling her out of the road," Second: I kissed him because he was killing me with tickling, and Third: my mom came home before I could answer him so he had to ask me twice before the BOOM could happen!"

"Did you say three weeks ago?"

     "Yes."

     "I mean EXACTLY three weeks!"

"Um," I think as I pull out my phone to see what day it is," Yep exactly three."

"YOU GUYS STARTED DATING THE FIEST DAY OF SCHOOL! You guys like just met that day!"

"No we didn't like just met on that day," I reply," we DID meet each other on that day!"

She was freaking out, in a happy way of course, she hugged me and texted Cameron, congrats and omg and yay and I can't even believe this! We checked out more stores. We went to Barnes and Noble and a girl named Shailene helped me out finding a book called Binge and Katie got Cameron and I a book with advice for dating.

After, shopping, trying things on, and freaking out, Katie and I go to the cafe across the street from Barnes and Noble. We get coffee and sit outside. While, we start talking about Cameron and I -again- a girl came up and tapped me on the shoulder.

"Yes?," I say spinning around in my chair.

I look up and I see a skinny blonde girl, about our age, but looked more mature.

"Hi, I was wondering if you knew where Aeropostale is?," she responds.

"Yeah, cross the street, take a right, and it should be right there on your left."

"Thank you," she says and she was about to walk away, but she stops and turns around,"Wait, I think we know each other. I'm Kennedy!"

Everything shuts down in my body when I hear her name. I stare at her with a stunned look. Katie noticed and talks to Kennedy to end the awkward silence. As they talk Katie tells her who I am and Kennedy's face lit up. She slowly looks over at me and smiles.

"I remember, we went to the same elementary and middle school," she says to me like she never knew about our friendship, and how she broke it into millions of pieces.

She just acts like I was just another girl, she would wave to every once in a while, but no that's not how it was at all.

"Maybe we could catch up later," she adds," I go to the comprehensive high school over there."

"Oh, so do we," Katie says with joy.

"Omg! What a small world we live in! Am I right? Well I better get going," she says," see you later, Avery!"

"Bye," I say rolling my eyes after she leaves. I take a sip of my coffee and look up at Katie. She has the "who was that" face. I give her the "rude b***h" eye roll.

I didn't tell her the story I couldn't tell her the truth. So Katie and I drank the rest of our coffee in silence...
