Just Keep Swimming

Chapter 13

(A/N: the picture is what the characters are supposed to look like. Okay now let's start the chapter!)

•Friday•

I wake up in Cameron's room. We've been having sleepovers every night since Monday. I'm not joking when I say, I packed a whole suit case of clothes and makeup. I get up and Cameron is still sleeping. I sneak over him and tiptoe into his bathroom.
I look in the mirror and I have makeup smeared down my face. I KNEW I FORGOT TO DO SOMETHING LAST NIGHT! I grab some makeup wipes, wipe it off, and put some more on. Then, I do everything else.
While brushing my hair, Cameron barges in and grabs his tooth brush. He is so frantic as he screams I'm gonna be late, I'm gonna be late. I laugh and walk out of the bathroom.

"What's so funny?!," he asks.
"You," I giggle," you're not gonna be late it's only 7 the bus comes in a half an hour."
"You do this everyday," I add.
"I know because when I look over and notice your not there," he replies," I just instantly think I'm late."
"Because I forgot girls take a long time to get ready," he shoots back.
"Hey this is the longest I've ever taken," I comment back," I forgot to take my makeup so it's probably gonna stain your bed."
"I hate you," he says laughing.
"Come here!"

I jump up and run downstairs, screaming. He tackles me down on the couch and tickles me. He stops but stays on top of me. He just stares into space. I I try to wiggle away but he grabs my arms and chuckles.

     "I don't know where your going," he says holding me, down.
     "To school," I reply.
     "CRAP, I'M STILL NOT READY," he shouts and runs to the bathroom.
     "I WAS JUST JOKING," I say laughing.

     We walk to the bus stop together. We see Jackson and Brandon waiting for us. We walk over and Jackson hands me a rose. Cameron looks at him and gets defensive.

    "BRO, I TOLD YOU THIS," he says," SHE' S MINE BACK OFF!"

    Cameron grabs the rose and throws it. Jackson picks it up hands it to him and another one to me.

     "I have a girlfriend, we'll sort of," he replies," it's for her hand her the rose when she walks by. I'm asking her to prom!"
     "YAY!," I shout.
     "Oh that's why it says prom on your shirt," Brandon says," and gave me this rose."
     "I told you why," Jackson responds.
     "I wasn't really listening."
     "You never are!"

     The bus arrives and and everyone gets in there places. When I say everyone, I really mean everyone. Jackson gave every single person a rose to give to Katie as she walks by. There's only 15 of us, including the bus driver, but still it's so cute!
     "She gets on and the bus driver hands her a rose. She has a really confused look when she takes it. Then, when she starts walking down the little walk way, she slowly starts to understand what's happening. When, she gets to the back and sees Jackson, she understands completely.
     He is holding a dozen roses. He hands them to her, revealing his shirt.

     "Prom?," she says reading the shirt.

     She puts her hand to her mouth and gasps.

     "Katie, will you please go to the junior prom with me?," he says.
     "OH MY GOSH," she yells," YES, FINALLY."

     Everyone is filming and laughs when she responds. She hugs him, tightly. They release from the hug and sit down. Then, all of a sudden, everyone is shouting.

     "KISS KISS KISS KISS KISS!"

     Jackson shrugs his shoulders. They stand up and kiss.

    "AWEEEEE," is all you hear. And then, it all turns to cheering.

    We get off the bus and go into school. As we step into school, our phones are blowing up. I look at what everyone is posting. It was the promposal on the bus. Katie giggles and blushes when she watches it. Then, we all head to our lockers and get ready for our first classes.

(A/N: I know I said I wouldn't do this again, but I'm sorry this is a short chapter but I'm tired because I stayed up until 1:30am last night writing yesterday's post. Also I'm going to be really busy tomorrow, so I want to get some sleep. Thanks for understanding guys. Bye 💘😘)
