Michael's POV:
"That movie was pretty shit, wasn't it?", I said to Val through chuckles.
It was only really us who were watching the movie. There were two other guys sitting at the back not really paying attention to the movie at all. I think they were just there for the sake of being there. Calum was sitting next to me but I don't think he payed much attention either. He kind of just sat there.
"Thank you.", Val murmured under her breath to the woman holding the door open for us as we walk out the door.
"Um, yeah. It was shit. I mean they made Alexandra and Mason kiss...like no thanks. That is not who the ship was. The ship was Mason and Linda Rose!", she rolls her eyes and brings her drink up to her soft pink lips and takes a sip from the yellow and blue striped straw.
"Exactly! It's so stupid."
Valentine's POV:
Michael stops in his tracks and turns in every direction, rapidly shifting his eyes...trying to find something. No, someone. "Um...Val."
"Yeah?"
"Where's Calum?"
"I do not know."
He winces and bites his lip in thought. He has got to stop doing that.
"I'm sorry Val but I've got to go find him. He left his phone at home so I can't call him and I can't just leave him here. He's probably in the toilet. I'll just be like three minutes. Ok?"
"Ok. It's fine.", I said calmly. '
It really is. I don't mind at all. I mean if Charlie left with Ashton to go somewhere, without giving a warning, I'd be pretty pissed. Michael disappears and I'm left alone leaning against the same podium as I was when I was waiting for them.
The 'disgusting shade of blue' haired guy isn't anywhere to be seen. Neither is the guy with chestnut hair. The only people keeping me company is the girl behind the counter that sells pop corn and drinks. But she's giving all her attention to her phone.
When I asked her for one large coke earlier, she rolled her eyes and acted all pissed at me for bothering her time with her precious phone.
Well I guess I may as well go on my phone too. The screen lights up and I can see five new messages from Charlie. All of them relating to kissing Michael while 'watching' the movie. Which I did not do! But! We did laugh and face palm at all the terrible parts together. We even shared a couple of whispers -- which was un bearable. The way Michael whispered into my ear...I just wanted to turn around and eat his face! (Ha. That sounded weird, I promise you I am not a cannibal).
"Hey", a deep raspy voice says.
I look up and it seems that the voice belongs to the guy with the disgusting blue hair. His eyes are so dark, I could swear they're black, they look like large holes pressed into his eyeballs. The holes are staring right at me. He's smirking. At me. The way the side of his mouth folds into his check gives me chills. I'm getting bad vibes from this guy. He's standing directly in front of me. Too close to me.
"Um...hi?"
"You're pretty. You know that?", his smirk rises farther into his cheek.
"Oh um ok...thanks.", I mumble. I look away from his gaze and focus on the floor. My grip around my drink and phone tighten.
"What's wrong? You look nervous. Am I scaring you?", he doesn't ask a question like he's concerned. It's like he's asking with enjoyment. With enjoyment of seeing me tense up in his presence.
No.
Because of his presence.
When I look up, his face is at least eight inches away from mine.
"Relax. I'm not going to hurt you.", he chuckles.
I lift my head a little higher, just so I can get a glance at the counter. The girl isn't there anymore. In fact, there is no one around. The only thing I can hear is the sound of my heart beat racing and the breaths of my personal space intruder/blue hair guy.
I look up.
Five inches away.
"It's ok. Don't be afraid.", the smirk disappeared from his face. It's now replaced with a dead stare. Complete straight face.
Four inches away.
I keep my head down. I'd much prefer to look at the floor then face him.
"Just be quiet."
I've had enough.
"Excuse me? I'm not even talki-"
No inches separate him from me.
His lips reach mine and his tongue tries to invite itself into my mouth.
I refuse.
I shove him away from me.
Seventeen inches away.
I wipe my mouth and try to hold myself back from throwing up.
Before he can run back into my lips, someone grabs him by his shirt and shoves him onto the floor.
Punches.
Everything is happening so fast, I can't make out what's going on.
Calum's POV:
Fucking bastard. I leave for a couple of minutes and he's already trying to touch my girlfriend.
"Leave her the fuck alone!"
Blood runs down his mouth as he struggles to take a gasp of air.
Valentine's POV:
He runs out the cinema in complete fear.
Calum turns around and starts running towards me.
"Are you ok Kathy? Did he hurt you?"
"Yeah I'm fine. Thank you so much, I was so scare-wait did you just call me Ka-"
"Are you high right now?", he says with complete disgust.
"I'm sorry, what? Calu-"
Before I can even finish saying his name, he forcefully grabs both my arms, forcing my drink to drop out of my hand and spill all over the floor. Forcing my phone to make a thud.
He turns my arms over so my palms are revealed. It's like he's examining my arms.
"Where are they? Did you cover them with make up or something?"
He's dead serious.
His grip around my wrist tightens.
"Calum. You're hurting me. You're scaring me."
Michael's POV:
There he is! God I was looking everywh-
Calum's hands are tightly wrapped around Val's wrists and she is struggling to break free. Her eyes burn with fear.
Valentine's POV:
Before Calum can continue asking strange questions, before Calum can strangle my wrists further, Michael shoves him off and stands protectively in front of me.
The force of the shove seems to have snapped him back into reality.
"I-I...I'm sorry, Valentine. Um I have to go.", he shakes his head furiously and runs off.
Long chapter! Will try to update more often.
X,
Gabby
