Valentine's POV:
"He didn't kiss you?", Charlie exclaimed as she slammed her first against my bed. I shrugged in response. "So you're telling me that you and Michael talked for hours. And stayed there talking for five hours...but didn't kiss?", she had this look on her face that kind of said what the fuck is wrong with you? "Yep. That sounds pretty accurate."

After Michael and I's first 'date' (I guess you could call it that), I had developed a crush on him. My attraction to him has intensified too. A guy with a great personality and his face is just...god yes.

But it's kind of a one sided thing. I am 99% sure that he has no remote interest in being my boyfriend or anything like that. I'm much too boring and unattractive for a guy like him to look at me like the way I look at him. I know I keep saying that but I feel like it's the truth. The hard truth that only I can see. Charlie is so oblivious to the truth of him not being interested in me that she keeps telling me that he 'definitely' has a crush on me.

"Hello? Earth to Val.", snapping her fingers repeatedly in front of my face. "What...", I groan as I take another bite of my Oreo. Did you really just ignore everything I said?", Charlie pouted as she slouched further into my bed. "Uhhh...yes?"

Charlie rolled her eyes and began to repeat everything she had said to me. "Well I was saying that you should hang out with my angels and I.", she said with a bright smile. What? Angels?...oh. "Charlie's Angels?", a chuckle escaped from me. "You're a clever cookie."
"Am I now?"
"Don't flatter yourself."
I stuck my middle finger up in her direction with a glare on my face. She laughed at me as I did this. "Ok anyways, my angels." "Angels? You mean Angel right? Cause I'm your only friend." Her face dropped into a bitchy look. "Just kidding." "Ok shut up Val, let me talk", she said in a raised voice. I sat still obediently and listened. "My angels. Yes. Angels. Are Luke, Ash, Mikey and Cal." I Oh-ed in realisation. She began to continue, "Mikey was telling me he wanted to hang out with you again because he really enjoyed your company."

Oh.

Bit of a filler. Soz. And sorry I haven't updated in a while, I just couldn't think of anything to write. Still can't but this is what I wrote in about 15 minutes.
It's just I'm sitting at the side of an indoor swimming pool and I finished reading The 5th wave about a week ago and now I have no book to read :(
Am bored. Plez halp.

X,
Gabby
