Valentine POV:

"Excuse me, what?", I spitted out with poison laced around each word.

"I'm sorry! We can't make it..."

Liar.

I know she's just doing this to put Michael and I by ourselves. How did I not suspect this?

"Are Michael and Calum there yet?"

"Who's Cal-oh. Wait what? Calum's coming too?"

"Yeah..."

"Lovely.", I say sarcastically. I don't feel like small talk right now. I just want to be with Michael.

I don't understand! The whole point of Charlie doing this whole "oh we can't make it" bullshit, was so I could be alone with Michael, so why is Calum is tagging along?

It makes no sense.

"Where are you right now?"

"In the cinema. Well actually I'm outside, you know the place where you buy popcorn and shit?"

"Oh oh ok.", she pauses for a moment. "Ashton! Tell Cal and Mike that she's waiting in the cinema!", I pull my phone away from ear since she's screaming directly into the mic. I'm much too irritated to carry on with the conversation.

I hang up on her.

Put my phone into my pocket.

Arms crossed over my chest.

The cinema isn't so busy today. There's like two people here.

First guy:

Is sitting on the floor in the dark corner scrolling through his phone. His spare hand rests on the top of his head.

Chestnut hair, a round face and has several freckles scattered across his nose and cheeks.

Wearing a grey leather jacket, a plain blue top and brown jeans.

Looks fifteen.

Second guy:

Leaning against the podium on my left with his hands in his pockets, staring into space. Completely unaware of his surroundings.

His hair (which is barely brushing his shoulders) glows a disgusting shade of dark blue. Sharp jawline, clear skin, nose stud, piercing on his left eyebrow, several tattoos from his shoulder to his wrist on his right arm.

Wearing a long black shirt and baggy grey jeans.

Looks nineteen or twenty.

Something about him reminds me of Michael. Maybe it's the tattoos or maybe it's the eyebrow piercing.

Michael's POV:

"There she is!", I say to Calum as my finger points in her direction. She seems to be staring at something with her arms crossed over her chest. A pair of reflective sunglasses hang from the centre of her shirt...huh. She's wearing a Halsey shirt. The sight of it brings a smirk onto my lips without any realisation. She is such a fangirl.

We begin to walk over to Val as her eyes further wander over whatever she's staring at. "Val!"

Her head quickly turns to our direction and immediately starts flashing a smile that seems to brighten up the dimly lighted room.

Valentine's POV:

"Hey!", I try to say calmly but my excitement seems to be poking through. Michael is standing directly in front of me with his hands casually in the pockets of his black ripped skinny jeans. He's wearing a green jacket and a def leopard shirt.

"So this is Cal-"

"Oh my god! You dyed your hair!", I say with surprise and hysteria.

I'm blushing.

I bring my hands up to my cheeks so he doesn't see how they're glowing a furious pink. Blue is definitely his colour. "It's your favourite colour right? Cause I wasn't sure if this was the right shade and I was getting worried that you would hate it if it wasn't the right colour." Huh? The guy next to him seems to be chuckling at our conversation. I assume he's Calum? "Yeah it's my favourite colour, don't worry about it." Michael's rambling makes me giggle. "Uhhhh. Well-Um. I uh-"

"I'm Calum. I've heard a lot about you from this mess.", Calum says casually. Michael is normally pretty casual but for some reason he seems to be a little...nervous?

I don't know what I'm doing.

Just go along with it.

X,

Gabby
