I arrived at the cute little apartment in downtown LA
a beautiful apartment but small
"Hey there.." He said
He caught me looking over his shoulder into his apartment
I snapped to his attention really quick
"Sorry" I said " you just have such a beautiful view"
And I wasn't lying.
A whole wall of window overlooked the beautiful city lights from his 30th floor apartment.
"Well Thankyou" he responded "come inside, you look so cold!" He said
And he was right
Though the lobby was warm and so was the elevator, it took me so long to get warmed up.
"You okay?" He asked as we both sat on his white couch
"Yeah definitely, why?" I said out of habit.
I forgot that I actually did tell him what was wrong.
Unlike Harry, I could never tell him anymore.
It would always bring up something, make him more paranoid
"What?" He said "but you just said you and your.."
"Right" I said chuckling "I'm sorry I'm not used to telling people I'm not okay"
"I understand" he said as he wrapped his arm around me
"Things happen and life goes on whether you want it to or not" he said lightly
Just then the pizza came, which smelled amazing. The day was so hectic that I didn't even think to eat.
We shared the pizza as we watched tv, it was getting late and we both started to yawn.

Flashback to 2 1/2 years ago*****
It was night now and I decided to call John.
I dialed the number on my cup and saved it afterward
Still daydreaming about him
A guy has never shown interest towards me throughout all of high school, but I wanted to make sure I didn't let this one slip. It was my senior year! Finally 18... I can do what I want now.
The phone was ringing to connect to the other line for a long time
I was starting to get worried
"Hello?" John answered
Thank goodness
"He John, it's Kate" I said
"Kateeee, I've been thinking about you all day" he said
I giggled a little bit
"Me too, honestly" I replied "so when can I see you again?"
"How about now?" He asked
What
I thought to myself
My parents were still super strict, and it was a school night.
A study date, that's where I'm going
Study date then sleep over and sadies' house
"Send me your address" I said "I'll be waiting"
I hung up
I ran into the living room to tell my parents about my very urgent project and how I had to leave now
I showered first and sprayed perfume,
Grabbed my backpack although it was empty
And sprinted through the door.
I was driving fast to his place in Anaheim.
When I pulled up, i saw a large house, but only one car.
I thought to myself, hmm, his parents must not be home.
I knocked on the door and he answered
"Hey" he said. His perfectly straight teeth flashed me, as they did his smile lines appeared on the corners of his mouth.
I didn't realize how tall he was because I hadn't stood up next him.
He was about 6'2 and he wore a black shirt that was too tight for him but I didn't mind.
"Hi" I said shyly
He looked around over my shoulder as if to see if anyone was watching and then grabbed my waist so tight my air flew out of me. He brought his face close
"This is what I've been thinking about all day" he said
He kissed me hard
threw me on the couch
and then closed the door.
