Tribal Goddess

Every generation learns a little something about their heritage, but only a few take in what is being told. Some descendants allow their heritage to be a part of their lives and live in a world where they believe what others do not, see what others do not, and be what others cannot.
Kaya Uley is that girl.
Her entire life, she was a step behind her older brother Sam; she was always viewed as a pretty face, but that's honestly the last thing she wanted to be known as. She wanted to be known as a fellow pack member, a good sister, and one day she wanted to be viewed as hopefully an Alpha. But when she told Sam, and her father this, they both looked at each other and crack into fits of laughter.

  It broke her heart...and her dreams.

   Kaya was the girl to never give up her dreams, even if they were badly damaged; she just had to find a way to prove that she was capable of being a leader, which later led her to leave La Push to live on her own in Montana.

     Sam and Kaya grew up the same way; in the same little house, went to the same school. But how was it she was more driven to become an Alpha when it was easily handed over to Sam? She would always think that he viewed as the favorite; football quarterback, baseball champion, and soccer star.

and all Kaya had ever been was a pretty girl who played the violin, her father made it known that no one liked a pretty girl who had a talent, but it wasn't like she cared. She just wanted to be herself and be who she was destined to be all along, but she assumed that maybe being an Alpha wasn't in her path.

      Kaya had been residing in Montana for a little over four years; making her the age of twenty-two, and in that time, she became the Alpha of the Atsina wolf pack, the strongest and the most exotic. She had looking out for those who were going to be transforming, and when that time came, she would then welcome them into her pack and make them a part of her.

She gathered the total of thirteen shapshifters, and she each treated them as if they were her brothers.

   There were; Harold, Mike, Chris, Willy, Xavier, Oliver, Ray, Taylor, Steven, Paul, Brandon, Erin, and Kale.

    She intended to bring them back to prove that she was capable of her dreams becoming reality, but she often thought on whether it would start a war between the Quileutes and the Atsina pack, or will it bring them closer?

   That was always on Kaya's mind; and all she wanted to do was bring the Atsina's to the Quileutes.
