Welcome Home Princess

Sam...

Why did that scent smell so familiar?

The sounds of paws clawing the ground beneath my feet had my mind off of what was running around me; I knew that scent like my own, but I never really bothered to remember just whom it belonged to.

Why can't I remember?

Seth was scouting higher elevation, as Leah was searching the west of the reservation. We all knew that we weren't encountering vampires, because even though I highly despise them as filthy creatures, it wasn't their God awful smell haunting the forests of La Push. It was somewhat sweet, like nature sinking into the skin that was naturally sweet to smell, and if it was anywhere near possible; to taste. Honey, pomegranite...it smelt so sweet. Why the HELL does that smell so familiar.

'What're ya thinking Sam?' Paul connected with me after about thirty minutes of searching. It was getting ready to drive me crazy if I don't find out because when I don't find out what I'm destined to then it's hell for everyone. So I know that my fellow pack members were trying desperately to find out what the hell is out here so that we can all go home and do something else that's not this.

We don't always need to do this.

I was in the North East wing of our search, and then all of a sudden I had that urge to change. My shorts were always tied around my ankle incase I needed them, so when I was back to being human I was pulling my shorts over my waist when a immortally beautiful shadow stepped out which insinctly made me jump back and take up a stance that was to protect myself. When the shadow stepped forward, their hips swayed a bit, their body was slender, and it made me realize that the shadow happened to be a female; but why the hell was there a girl out in the forest, staring at me as if she knew who I was. She smiled after a moment of my complete skeptisim to realize that when she smiled that bright beautiful million dollar smile, that I actually remembered why that scent smelled so familiar.....

That beautiful girl with the gorgeous smile was my sister Kaya.

"Kaya?" I asked as I narrowed my eyes to try and contemplate if it was really her. She seemed taller, she was darker than I remembered her, she was glowing the way a pregnant woman would. It was making me question on what happened to her, and why she disappeared in the first place.

"Hey big brother," Her voice coming out like silt which made my heart jump like Emily does to me. Which was something that freaked me out about my own sister. "miss me?"

I stood there and took in her features. Besides the fact that she was gorgeously immortal, it made me date back to why she left in the first place; of course I missed my baby sister, we all did; but her dreams were impossible and both her and I know it. She wanted to become the Alpha of my wolf pack but it was rightfully mine as it was placed upon my shoulders in that future of a time period. She was roughly five foot eight with a body that I wouldn't imagine my little sister having; her hair was down her back ending at the knot. Her hair black, eyes dark brown, and teeth perfect as they always were.

Where the hell was she all this time?

"What I don't get a 'Welcom Home Princess?' or a 'Hey Kaya nice to see you?' You were always a dick that way," She looked away momentarly to show that she was watching where she was walking. She touched the tree to reveal hands that had a tattoo starting at her knuckles and traveling all the way up her arms, not the way that many people call them 'sleeves' but the one tattoo crawling it's way up her arm as if it was a vine of tribal tattoos that dominated her whole right arm. Her nails were colored a burgandy that was so perfectly manicured, and a ring sat on her index finger. She stepped closer as her feet sunk into the ground with the mud, even though she was getting dirty, she wasn't the girl to care. That's just how she was; pretty Kaya, outgoing personality. "I always remembered you being that way, always worried about what you think and not what others think."
