 Max's P.O.V.

After Jade left I continued the day without her. It was really quiet without Jade around. It felt really weird. It was only when she left when I realized I was falling in love with her. Yes I love Jade. As crazy as it is I am getting a crush on my best friend. But, I don't think I'm ready to ask her out yet, so I decided to give it some time.

Finally the long school day ended. I didn't really have anything to do, so I decided to take a walk in the woods. I followed a trail that led me to a field. This must have been the place Drake was taking about. Suddenly I heard twigs snapping in the distance. Soon three unbelievably huge wolves emerged from the bushes. They were bigger than grizzly bears! They carried a deer carcass along with them. The biggest one out of the three wolves was a black one with brown eyes. The next one was a russet color, also with brown eyes. The last one was a beautiful silver wolf with blue eyes. I didn't get too close just in case they saw me. I had also obviously stayed downwind, so they wouldn't catch my scent. I sat and watched them eat and growl at each other for a few seconds. I didn't stay long though, because I didn't want them to notice me, so I went back the way I came and went home.

The next day I ran up to Jade. I was so excited to tell her what I had seen in the woods.

"Jade, Jade!" I practically yelled.

"What? Calm down!" She replied laughing, and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Okay. I have something to tell you, so listen carefully." I replied. Jade nodded and waited for me to speak. "Okay, so I was walking in the woods, and I think I found that field Drake was talking about. I heard twigs snapping in the bushes, and three huge wolves came out of the woods!" I explained.

"Oh, really?" Jade said with a surprised look on her face.

"Yeah. They were huge!" I said. "One was black, the next one was russet, and the last one was this beautiful silver color!" I continued.

"How big did you say they were?" Jade asked.

"Oh my gosh, they were bigger than grizzly bears! I don't know how they could've gotten that big!" I replied remembering the wolves perfectly.

 Jade's P.O.V.

Oh my gosh! Had Max really seen my brothers and I?! I didn't know what to think or say. The only thing I could really say was "Cool." Max nodded with excitement.

"Yeah it was! I wish you could've been there to see them Jade, they were awesome!" Max said.

"What were they doing?" I asked, trying to act surprised, when really I was freaking out! What would I do if he found out my brothers and I were the wolves?!

"They were eating a deer that they had been carrying, but I didn't stay long just in case they noticed me." He replied. Thank God he didn't see us phase. I was so shocked. He really did see us.

"Cool." I said again, until we couldn't think of anything else to say. The rest of the day was quiet. It was strange because Max and I hardly talked. We just kind of looked at each other, smiled, and blushed all day. Finally the day ended, and I said goodbye to Max and hurried over to Drake's locker to meet him there before we walked home together. I told Drake about Max seeing us yesterday in the field. Drake was so shocked, he couldn't say anything. Finally after a while, he finally said something.

"He really saw us?" Drake said.

"Yes." I replied. As soon as we came home, we told Shawn what had happened. He was also shocked to hear the news.

"Okay. Well the only thing we can do is to be careful where we go from now on." Shawn said, scratching the back of his head.

"Got it." Drake and I replied at the same time. We decided to forget about the situation, and continued the day as normal.
