Sirius' p.o.v

"It was Lucius." She gasped out, and I saw her walls collapse, she began sobbing, more than I had ever seen her cry before. I didn't know what to do as my best friend fell apart right next to me, I didn't speak, afraid to say the wrong thing. I hugged her gently, letting her cry in my arms. Why did her idiot brother, have to hurt her like this? She was like an angel, she was kind, adorable and sweet to everyone she met. She acted tough, but we all knew that she was a sweetheart.
I was proud to be her best friend, I just wish I could have protected her more, because she never deserved to hurt.

I didn't speak for a while, just softly rubbing her back, letting her cry as much as she needed. I hoped that it helped, letting it out.
Suddenly, she stopped crying, she was still shaking a little bit, but she pulled away and I saw her pale eyes looking at me.

"I'm sorry about that." She mumbled, her cheeks reddening. I looked at her shocked.

"Never be sorry for feeling sad, ok? And never be sorry for letting me see! I shall be here every bloody day you need me Arabella, don't forget that!" I said seriously and she looked at me for a moment longer, before hugging me again, this time it was tighter and stronger, and she no longer had tears rushing down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you Sirius, you're my best friend! I'm sorry I didn't ask for help." She mumbled into my shoulder, and I pulled away, to look at her face.

"It's ok Bells, but promise you'll come to me if anything ever upsets you again?" I asked seriously and with a small chuckle she nodded her head.
"Now, you have to start eating again." I said carefully, not wanting to upset or trigger her.

"I'll try for you Sirius." Was her answer, I wasn't expecting it, I was expecting more of a fight, but in that moment, I realised, she didn't have much fight left in her.
