I cuddled into Remus, he was warm and strong, I don't know how I lived without him for so long, he made me feel safe. In his arms I simply forgot about how badly I was treated or how much pain I was going through.

He respected that I was mentally not ok, and that made me very happy, I just hoped that he wouldn't leave me if I got too much for him to handle.

I had my head resting on Remus' chest, and my arms and legs tangled around him and I was half asleep already, I was so tired. My emotions had become too much and they were suffocating and exhausting, Remus didn't mind, so he let me rest on him. I heard footsteps from upstairs, but didn't move to see who it was.

I heard someone speak, "Aww Remus! That's adorable!" It was Lily, and Remus chuckled as quietly as he possibly could, it was adorable because he thought I was asleep... bless him.

I heard more feet and Sirius exclaiming, "Look after her mate." And Remus and him began discussing who knows what, I was so nearly asleep that I didn't hear anything at all.

Next thing I know, Remus is gently shaking my arm, and I open my eyes groggily, "Hello darling, are you hungry? It's nearly lunch time." I let out a large yawn, before blushing and hiding behind my hand. He laughs softly, "You're so adorable." He mumbles more to himself, but it makes me peak out between my fingers, and I see him watching me carefully.

"I'm sleepy." I mumble and he chuckles again, before gently moving my hand away from my face.

"I know darling, go back to sleep, and if you're hungry later, I'll take you to the kitchen." He gently kisses my forehead and I instantly fall back asleep in the comfort of his strong arms.

Later

I wake up abruptly when my stomach growls, Remus laughs softly, and I look up at him pouting, he blushes slightly, before softly kissing me. "Come on darling, let's go to the kitchen." He picks me up I move so I am on his back, and he begins to walk to the kitchens.

"You're too good for me." I mumble, feeling sad and confused. I didn't deserve Remus, he was too good for me...

Suddenly Remus stops walking, places me on the ground and turns to look at me in the eyes, he gently takes my face with both his hands and without saying anything, he passionately kisses me.

I fill with happiness as he gently but with a lot of love kisses me. When he pulls away, I see tears in his eyes, and I feel terrible for making him sad. "You're the best thing to ever happen to me, so don't you dare say I'm too for you. I love you with everything, you make me happier than chocolate, so please, don't you dare think I'm too good for you!" and I blush furiously, oh Remus... I'm so lucky to have you.
