(13) Unacceptable

~~Maddie's POV~~

I sit here in handcuffs looking out over the large crowd that has filled the court room. Reporters, I know you can just tell as they eye you. My eyes meet the green ones I have been looking for and I smile. I look at the front roll as I see Emma and man I fucked her face up. I only hit her twice but my aim hit it's mark and hard. She looks over at Harry who ignores her and I chuckle. Josh, Niall, Louis, and Liam are with him and I shake my head. He brought the whole gang and it is quite embarrassing. He looks upset as he sits and stares at me, I know this is hard for him and he feels responsible. Louis leans in whispering and Harry looks back, yelp they spotted the reporters and I cant believe they are even allowed in here. They call people before me and I swear if they go alphabetically I will be here all fucking day.

I pull at my fingers that rest on top of my huge stomach as people piss off this judge. Great she will be in a great mood for me. I roll my eyes as someone says something stupid causing her to yell. I look over at Harry who gives me a sympathetic smile. Then I hear Emma's name, followed by mine. I stand as the guard helps me move toward the front and I meet Elizabeth as she places a hand on my back. Emma is talking to the judge and I cant hear a word she says, but the judge keeps looking back at me and she doesn't seem pleased. I glance over at the guys and they all stare watching the show in front of them. "Mrs. Styles." I look up as the judge calls my name she watches me as I move forward with Elizabeth at my side. Emma moves to the side as she glares at me. I ignore her because the last thing I need right is to punch her again.

"Madison Styles do you understand the charges against you?" She looks over the top of her glasses at me. I look at Elizabeth who shakes her head. Be nice and respectful Maddie.

"Yes your Honor." I say looking her in her eyes. She looks at the papers in front of her and my heart races. Damn it I'm going to jail again and I'm going to end up having my daughter on a nasty ass concrete floor. I inhale a deep breath trying to calm my nerves. She takes her time, looking over at Emma then to me.

"Mrs. Styles this case is very public and I am sorry for that. With that being said." She stops looking behind us and I don't know what she is doing. "I am asking that the courtroom be cleared at this time." I look over at Elizabeth with wide eyes. She smiles. Everyone begins to clear as I turn seeing Harry making his way to us. I elbow Elizabeth and she turns then facing the judge.

"Your honor we ask that Mr. Styles is allowed to stay." She nods and he comes to stand beside me and frowns looking down at the cuffs. He rubs my back and I cant help but feel the fear he is feeling. He glares over at Emma who keeps her head down.

"Now, I'm looking at you." She says to me eyeing me up and down. "And I would love to hear from you what happened to cause this." I look at Elizabeth who shrugs but smiles and I freak out, but hell I don't think I was wrong.

"Well I was enjoying my meal with a friend, and she walks up saying some pretty mean things. I was ignoring her until she said somethings about my husband and I just hit her. I warned her over and over but she didn't listen. I understand that I shouldn't let my anger take over, but when she threatened my child I lost it so I hit her again." I inhale but I keep my eyes forward as Harry looks down at me. The judge looks over at Emma.

"You told me that you were just making conversation with her and Mr. Horan. But I wanted to see if Mrs. Styles would be honest and she was. I do not accept being lied to." She looks pissed I just don't understand how she knows I'm telling the truth.

"I wasn't lying, I was just talking to them." Emma squeals.

"No you lied. Now like I said before this is a very public case, and there are videos and pictures everywhere of this. I had the opportunity to see one this morning and it was actually a very good one." She pulls up a tablet and presses play on a video. I cant believe this is happening it's crystal clear, you can see all three of us and the audio is like they were sitting right beside us. I watch this and I'm surprised I held my cool as long as I did. Harry flinches beside me when Emma's threatens me and it makes me angry again. The judge sit's the tablet aside glaring at Emma.
