(22) Jokester

~~Harry's POV~~

We sit on the porch as London roams around on the yard. She is cute and who knew she would like bugs. She get's that from Maddie, because I cant stand the creepy crawly little slimy bastards. Maddie sits beside me stretching her tan legs out. Being back here is lovely but I know she misses our home as much as I do. We have to figure something out and soon, does she want to stay here or find a new home in London. "Harry..." She looks up squinting her eyes as the sun beats down. I nod like I always do and she continues. "How bad was it? Is everything gone?"

"Well it is bad, but the upstairs and the basement didn't get it as bad. They have mostly smoke damage, but nothing can be salvaged from the main floor." She sighs running her hands up and down her legs. "Someone started it in the garage and it spread fast, if Luke wouldn't have found it when he did it would all be gone." London walks up carrying a huge ass worm.

"Mummy, daddy look." Maddie looks up and she squeals.

"London, sit it down and move away slowly." Maddie says and I know now it's not a worm it's a fucking snake. I squeal like a little girl jumping up and running inside. London places it on the ground and pouts as it squirms away. "Baby do not ever pick things up like that. That was a snake and it could have hurt you." Maddie looks back as I peek around the corner. She bust out laughing and I flip her the bird. I hate those bloody things.

"I know what it was mummy, it was just a green snake." She says and Maddie shakes her head still laughing at the show I just put on. "Why is daddy hiding?" London points at me and Maddie loses it, she hunches over hitting her knees laughing.

"Because baby, daddy doesn't have the bollocks when it come to snakes." She laughs harder and London's mouth is in the shape of an O and I huff.

"I remember the day we met when Tristan was chasing you with that snake and you hid behind me!" I spit and she just laughs.

"Yeah but the difference is that was a copperhead and those or dangerous."

"A snake is a bloody snake Madison." She just doesn't get it! London goes back out in the yard but I keep an eye out for the green demon she released. I swear to god she is Maddie made over with all this wilderness shit. Maddie sits in the same spot she was in.

"Come on Marcel, the coast is clear." She chuckles.

"Maddie that was so ten years ago come up with something new." I spit sitting down beside her.

"Ok Barbie whatever you say." Oh she is just the jokester today.

"Oh hahahaha." I say sarcastically and she laughs but it fades.

"So what do we do now Styles?" She says with all laughter gone.

"I don't know, do you want to stay here or find a new place?" I look over at my wife as she ponders the idea.

"I think maybe we should rebuild, that's London's home." I nod and I think that's a brilliant idea. "But in the meantime how about we get a place in LA. You could work from the branch there and when you need to go back home we can go with you and visit." I like that idea too.

"Well I guess that's what we'll do then. London!" I call out to her as she runs over smiling.

"What daddy."

"Hey what do you think about moving to LA for a bit?" She scrunches her face. "Look love the princess fairies went to the house in London and they are going to redo it and make it way better. So while they do it we have to stay somewhere else." She squeals and Maddie laughs.

"Okay daddy, but you are staying with us to yeah?"

"Of course we will always be together."

"Mummy did you hear? The fairies are making us a new house."
