Chapter 56

I woke up the sun was shining and the car was moving I had a flat sheet on top of me I wrapped the sheet around my body while slightly lifting up

"The dead has arisen" Chris smiled at me I smiled back leaning up to the front seat to kiss his cheek he smiled at me

"They have clothes in that bag under the seat" he said I then noticed he had on different clothes

"Oh you knew we were going to sleep out here" I said playfully glaring at him he laughed

"No just in case" he said he looked in the mirror at me and smiled I smiled back blushing, a bit embarrassed that my boyfriend still makes me blush I then started to change in the back seat I put on my bra and underwear then I put one of Chris' sweatshirts and some Jean shorts then I put on some low top white converse and put my hair in two braids then I climbed up to the front and kissed his cheek again we drove a bit more until we got to our house but when we got to my house we saw Nash's car parked in our driveway I furrowed my eyebrows Chris parked and I walked up closer to the door step to see Nash and Hayes with flowers in their hands I then ran and jumped on Hayes wrapping my legs around his waist he laughed and spun me around then he put me down

"Hey I missed you so much" I said still hugging him he laughed

"I missed you too I'm sorry we didn't visit we just wanted to give you guys time" he said laughing

"2 months?" I asked he smiled

"We wanted to give you time because uh you have pregnant woman hormones" Nash laughed I chuckled a bit

"Yeah well I did have pregnant woman hormones" I said my smile fading

"What?" Hayes asked confused I was about to cry so I went inside and upstairs I heard Chris tell them everything as I walked up

I laid in the bed just looking out the window on the ceiling until I heard a knock on the door

"Come in" I said it was Hayes he looked at me and slightly smiled I smiled back

"So I heard" he said walking towards the bed I nodded

"Yeah" I said looking back up at the ceiling he tapped the spot next to me

"Do you mind" he asked I shook my head and scooted over so he could have space he took off his shoes and laid in the bed next to me

"I'm so sorry Taylor" he's said wrapping his arm around my stomach

I chuckled "it's fine I'm fine I'm just trying to get over it at this point, me and Chris just went on a road trip just to get our minds off of everything" I said he nodded

"Is there anything I can do for you?" He asked

"Stay with me for a while maybe?" I asked turning to the side looking at him he nodded and wrapped his arm around my waist while we talked for a while and laughed he was trying to make me feel better and it kind of worked but after about an hour or so I heard another knock at the door

"Come in" I said it was Nash

"Hayes can I talk to Taylor for a while?" He asked Hayes looked at me I nodded and he got up and went downstairs with Chris Nash took of his shoes and laid in the bed next to me it was quiet for a while but then he finally started talking

"Taylor I'm so sorry about what I said to you" he said I looked at him and smiled thanks but it's okay, you didn't know" I said pulling him into a hug

"I'm sorry about everything that I did to you when we were you know together..." I cut him off

"Nash that was in the past I don't..." but he cut me back off

"No no I realized I never really apologized to you and I never told you why I was such an asshole" he blew a breath "the truth is I never really felt like I could be happy, I mean I got kicked out of my house so I was living with one of my buddies and they never really had my best interest at heart, when I first met you I didn't really see you I just saw your body because that's what I thought you saw in me that's all anyone ever sees in me so when I cheated on you it was because I thought you didn't care about me I thought that you only wanted one thing, It wasn't until after we broke up that I noticed you and I'm sorry for that I'm so glad that you found someone who knows how good of a person you are because I could've never gave you what Chris gave you" he said he was looking at me the whole time while saying that I sat up looking at him then I hugged him

"Thank you for telling me that Chris is a great guy and I love him so much I would do anything for that goof down there but you're great too I'm surprised that you didn't see it before but you are amazing and I'm lucky but whoever you are with will be lucky too because you have definitely changed for the better" I said but then I noticed what I just said

"That came out wrong" I said he laughed "I get it and thank you" he said getting up and walking towards the door he opened the door and walked out I got up and walked downstairs to the kitchen Chris got up and sat on the counter next to me as I grabbed a pint of ice cream and a spoon

"So I was upstairs to see if you were okay and I heard something" he said trying not to smile I kissed his lips before opening up the ice cream

"and what was that" I said scooping up some ice cream and putting it in my mouth

"I heard what you said about me but I forgot what it was could you say it again for me" he said I playfully rolled my eyes

"I'm not saying it again" I said putting the ice cream up in the freezer he hopped off of the counter

"Yes you are" he said coming closer to me I stepped back "No I'm not " I said he grabbed me around the waist and picked me up while putting me on the counter then he kissed me while I was sitting on the counter I ran my fingers through his hair he pulled away

"Say it" he said I smiled no

"Fine" he said he started to tickle me

"STOP" I laughed he picked me up and brought me to our room

"CHRIS" I yelled

"Say it" he said still tickling me

"Okay okay I just said I love you" I said

"And" he asked

"That's it" I said and turned my head away from him he started tickling me again

"Okay okay I said I love you and I would do anything for you and that you're a great guy" I said he smiled then kissed me

"I think you're great too" he said as he went back to kissing me but I pulled away

"And" I said he looked at me and smiled

"Nothing that's all" he said I playfully glared at him

"Okay then no more kisses" I said turning my head he stared at me pouting until I finally gave in

"I hate you" I said

"But I love you" he said kissing me we were interrupted by a voice at the door

"Awww I want a girlfriend" I looked at the door Aaron was standing there I got up and ran towards him hugging him

"Hey shortie you're still the same height from the last time" he said patting my head

"Hey I'm not that short" I said he nodded his head

"Right" he said then he hugged Chris I smiled at them

"Hey Aaron looks like you've found yourself a girlfriend" I laughed they both playfully glared at me we all went back downstairs and just talked for a bit until it was time for them to go
