Song for chapter: Waves by Dean Lewis
Comment if you know where this song is from 😊😊

Today was one of the rare days that we had off because the weather was too bad for the concert. Rain and thunder is not the ideal weather for an outdoor concert. Perfect, our first outdoor concert and it's ruined by the weather. Everyone was figuring out when we would reschedule it. Today was also one of those days when you just can't move out of the bed, so you wake up listen to a sad song.

After that song goes off then there is another sad song on and you start to question everything and everyone in your life. So then you go into deep thought and you start to think about every bad thing that happened in your life and you start to cry hard, harder, to the point when you are sobbing. I turned over in my bed wondering how I even got in the bed. I see Chris laying next to me sound asleep, tiny snores coming from his mouth. I wiped my tears and lightly pecked his lips.

His eyes flickered open he smiled at me when he first saw me but his face dropped.

"What's wrong?" He asked hopping up I sat up next to him as he put his arm around me and pulled me in an embrace

"Nothing it's just...the concert" he looked at me confused but then he smiled at me knowingly

"It's also the rain and the thunder" I said chuckling

"I probably sound so stupid right now I'm sorry" I said realizing how dumb I look. He just smiled at me and hugged me tightly

"Just one of those days huh?" He asked me, I nodded

"Let's go get some coffee and watch the rain, maybe listen to a bit of music?" He asked raising his eyebrows. I nodded quietly wiping my eyes, he kissed my forehead softly and we got up. He put on some sweatpants and a white t-shirt with white vans. I just kept on what I had on since I slept with clothes on, I was wearing Adidas black and white sweatpants with a white flowy crop top.
I grabbed Chris' blue oversized flannel and put that on with white low top converse.

"Ready" he asked me

"Let's go" I said grabbing my wallet, phone and earbuds. He grabbed my hand and we ran out to the car so we wouldn't get wet. He put me in the car first opening the door for me making sure I was dry, he got in after. We drove down the street to the nearest coffee house which was literally walking distance but because of the rain. We got out of the car and walked inside of the shoppe.
It was so small from the outside but big and cozy in the inside. It was decorated with bricks as the walls, the color scheme was light browns dark browns and creme. They had fancy lights hanging from the ceiling, they even had bean bags for reading or anything else you needed. They had a lot of drinks anything you could think of they had it. We stood in line as we hummed the melody to Harry Style's From The Dining Table because it was playing in the shoppe.

"This place is so cozy and cute" I said to Chris he nodded still deciding what he wanted of the big faux chalk board menu. We waited until it was finally our turn to order.

"Hi welcome to Hole In The Wall what can I..." the lady said at the front she stopped herself when she saw who was standing before her and so did I.

"Maggie" I said

"Taylor hi" she said smiling at me sympathetically

"How are you holding up" she asked I furrowed my eyebrows together

"Can I just get y'alls anti stress tea with milk and honey in it?" I asked avoiding eye contact with her. Chris looked at me confused as to why I was dodging her. I just grabbed his hand and squeezed it while he told her his order. After we finished we sat down at the table closest to the window.
