Rylan POV

"Hello?" Brooklyn called. A brunette woman appeared at the end of the stairs and stormed over to us, with an angry expression.

"DO YOU CARE TO TELL ME WHERE YOU THREE HAVE BEEN FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS?! I HAVE BEEN WONDERING THE WHOLE TIME AND YOU DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO CALL. YOUR SISTER CAME IN THE OTHER DAY AND I HAD TO TORTURE HER, WHICH ONLY RESULTED IN HER TELLING ME YOU WERE AT A FRIENDS HOUSE, BUT I'M NOT STUPID ENOUGH TO BELIEVE THAT! BROOKLYN, GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE AND EXPLAIN. AND YOU TWO, GO TO YOUR ROOMS BEFORE I TORMENT YOU INSTEAD!" She screeched.

Bailey pushed me up the stairs and guided me into the room on the far left. She closed the door and sat me on the bed, before muttering " I'll be back." And rushing back down the stairs. A few moments later, Kamri walked in with pain shown across her face.
"I heard your run in with mom." She said.
"That was MOM!?" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, she's a bit of a touchy subject, huh! Anyway, you can not tell her where you were, do you hear me? She will not handle it well and you'll probably find yourself out of here before you can say help. Dad should be home soon. He is still pretty harsh, but he'll calm her down a little. Don't rely on him either. That's about the only good thing there is to having so many siblings. You can become reliant and it's ok."

I sat back on the bed with a stunned feeling rushing through me. Gosh, I am so in for it.

Brooklyn POV

"Where were you, little brat? And don't you dare come up with another excuse!" She screamed. I thought up something in my head.
"Your sister flew in and took us for the time. She was rude to us as much as you usually are, because we told her not to tell you and that you would be mad if she didn't punished us."
"Well, I can tell your lying!" She screeched, before pushing me to the ground.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here? Your little lookalike, Bailey. She won't be able to help you now." She said, before turning her head. "Get out you little thing. Go and deal with the other impostors while I force your sister to tell. Do you hear me?"
"Yes" Bailey muttered, before running out of the room. I turned back.
"Tell me the truth!" Mom screeched.
"Rylan was hit by a car!" I wailed. "She was in hospital, and is suffering from memory loss! We've tried to get her go remember, but technically your not helping!" My hopelessness turned into anger in a mater of seconds. So why don't you just let me go, so I can get her back to normal, and you'll be happy!"
Mom nodded. "Do you know what'd really make me happy?" She smirked. "Is to keep her like this, so I can torment her in a vulnerable state!" And with that, she let my newly clutched top out of her grasp and stomped up the stairs.

So things just got interesting! There will be more coming at some point. It made it easier to skip from Paisley's little thing a few chapters ago, so I could get rationally back on track, and have the older kids' point of view more often. Comment and vote on the book!
