Brooklyn was stuck to her bed, being tested for possible brain function abnormalities or ptsd related mental illnesses. They had seduced her, and all was fairly quiet.
Bailey was somewhat curled up in her bed sobbing; she didn't know what was going to happen. So much had gone on recently, all the siblings wanted was to feel at ease. But that wasn't to happen any time soon, who could feel calm in a hospital? Shaun didn't come in that much, his excuse was it had been too much for him.
The doctor from their first day in hospital made regular stops to visit the family whom he had come to know so well. He watched them improve, have setbacks and pretty much everything else you could see on a daily basis.
The rest of the siblings were slowly recovering from their injuries. Daxton's head had healed, and Paisley was back to being her energetic artistic self.
Mindy had been let out of the hospital a few weeks earlier, with minor cuts and bruises. She had been notified that all the kids were okay, which made her even more furious. Her plan hadn't worked the way it was meant to. They all get to stay in a nice, safe hospital, all healing, and there was nothing she could do about it. Or was there?
