i got a fever.
it was probably cause i was out last night
in the cold, cold weather.
i should've brought a jacket,
but the warmth i needed the most
doesn't come from jackets.
jungkook, namjoon and the other boys visited me today
giving me get well soon cards
(even though my sickness was not the slightest bit deadly)
and eating ice cream in my room just to tease me
i acknowledged their presence
they cheer me up when i'm down.
if i'm their so called sunlight
then i guess they're my little flowers,
growing each and every day,
blooming into the loving men i know now
but we all know that
flowers don't know much about the sun, do they?
they don't know that one day
the sun will explode
despite the many, countless days it's been supporting and keeping them alive.
flowers don't know that.

and i don't think a beautiful rose like you knows that either.
