It was a Friday afternoon and Alex had complained to me until I agreed to let him drive us to his house so that, and I quote, "we could cuddle, because no one would be home."
What he really meant was that no one would be home to poke fun at him for being a total girl for cuddling in the dark inside the warm confines of his bed.
Our relationship had been going pretty great for the two weeks we'd been dating. No one really knew about it, I mean obviously Alex's parents did because I practically lived at their house now, but the rest of the guys didn't really know too much.
"Cuddling with you is one of my favourite things ever." Alex smiled, his arms tucking around my waist as I rested my head down on his chest.
"As you say every day." I snickered.
"Be quite," Alex whined, his fingers twirling strands of my hair gently.
"You have a lot of Fall Out Boy posters." I murmured.
"I like them a lot, okay?" Alex huffed.
"You know I've met them a few times." I said softly, my lips curling into a smile as I thought back to the Reading & Leeds festival the year before last.
"No way!" Alex cried, sitting up.
"Yes, and I have their phone numbers." I teased, it was hilarious teasing Alex about the multiple band members' phone numbers I had.
"I hate you." He whined burying his head into a pillow.
"You do not." I scoffed.
"Can we call them?" He asked quietly, his chin falling onto my shoulder as he batted his eyelashes at me.
"You are a super dork." I grinned, jimmying my phone from my back pocket and opening my contacts book as Alex continued to look over my shoulder.
"Who do you want me to call?" I asked.
"Uh, the Emo King. I mean Pete! I said Pete! Call Pete!" He cried desperately, falling back onto the bed and covering his face with his hands whilst I laughed at him.
"The Emo King. Oh god, that is a good one Gaskarth, oh boy, I have got to tell Pete you said that." I snorted.
"No! Please don't!" Alex cried.
"Too late!" I smirked, finally pulling up Pete's number and hitting the call button, listening to the phone ring on the other end.
"Hello?" Pete finally answered.
"Pete? Hey! It's Alice!" I smiled.
"Alice! It's been forever! How are you?" Pete cried.
"I'm good, I'm good, I moved to Baltimore and it kind of sucks, I mean I ended up with some dork as a boyfriend, but he is quite lovely." I told him, stifling a giggle ask Alex groaned.
"Really? We're playing there next month! You and that dorky boyfriend of yours should come!" Pete said.
"That would be fantastic! He's literally in love with you guys, and he called you the emo king earlier just so you know." I snickered, listening to Pete's laughter float through the phone.
"The Emo King?" He asked.
"The Emo King." I repeated.
"Oh man that is a good one, I gotta tell Patrick." He snorted.
I grinned as I heard Pete yelling out for Patrick before he began to explain what Alex had said. I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing as Alex let out a defeated whine when he heard Patrick laughing.
