Arden was furiously typing in her computer, she had to send an essay in less than an hour and she was trying to finish it. She was almost finished but the knock on her door made her stop. With a loud groan, she got up from her really comfortable bed and opened the door.

"You look dead." The person said, and of course it had to be Roy Harper. Arden just rolled her eyes and walked to her bed, not bothering to show him the way inside. "Did I say something?"

"No, it's just that I have this stupid essay to finish and you couldn't have picked a worse time to come to my apartment." Arden explained, sitting in her bed. Roy nodded knowingly and sat beside her, looking at her essay.

"Seems good enough." Roy said with a shrug as he read the word document.

"It needs to be better than good enough, Roy." Arden whined, fixing up a few sentences. "This is worth half of my English grade."

"You're still in school?" Roy asked, tilting his head on confusion.

"It's called college, dumbass." Arden retorted, but then quickly regreted it. "Sorry, I'm just in a bad mood." She apologized softly.

"It's okay," Roy assured and put his hand in her back, "How about you take a break and then come back?"

"I can't, it's due in forty minutes." Arden said with a small sigh.

"Then, I'm gonna go. You'll finish your essay and I can come back when you want me to." Roy offered and Arden nodded. "Okay, see ya." He said before walking out of her room and leaving her apartment.

Felicity: COME TO LAIR 911

Arden read the text and immediately got up from her bed. She had just finished sending her essay to her professor, so Felicity had excellent timing.

She hurried towards the lair, and since she didn't have a car, she ran. When she got to the lair, she was panting hard.

"Arden, you're finally here." Felicity said before noticing her exhaustion. "Did you run here?" She asked curiously and Arden nodded breathlessly. "Why?"

"Because you said it was an emergency and I have no car." Arden explained, finally managing to catch her breath.

"Oh, did I?" Felicity asked checking her phone. "I did. Um, don't hate me but it's not an actual emergency."

"What?" Arden asked loudly, looking with disbelief at Felicity. "Then, why did you want me to come here?"

"Oliver asked me to dinner and I have nothing to wear." Felicity admitted and Arden just rolled her eyes. "I thought maybe you could help me."

"Me? Lis, my closet is full of black items and a few grey ones here and there. Plus, my level of girly is me and Thea eating big burgers for lunch." Arden told her and Felicity shrugged.

"You can help me shop for clothes." She suggested and Arden just nodded.

"How about this one?" Felicity asked, coming out with a pale pink short dress.

"Nah." Arden rejected the dress and Felicity sighed.

"I've already tried on the ones I like." Felicity whined, stomping her left foot on the ground.

"Felicity, do you ever wear black or show off your stomach?" Arden asked, thinking of two outfits she saw on the way to the dressing rooms. Felicity shook her head and Arden smirked. "Wait here." Arden commanded and went to get the two outfits. "Here, try these on."

"Okay." Felicity said and walked into the dressing room. After a minute or two, Felicity walked out with a black spaghetti strap top and a long black loose skirt.

"You look amazing, now let's see the other one. It's my favorite." Arden said and Felicity did as she was told. She came back wearing a black top with a pair of black leather shorts and a gray blazer on top. "I love it!"

Felicity smiled as she looked in the mirror, "This is incredible." She said, examining the beautiful outfit. "But, am I showing too much stomach?"

"No, you look just fine." Arden said with a huge smile on her face.

"Thanks, Denny."

"There, you look amazing." Arden said, finishing Felicity's make up.

"Wow, thank you." Felicity said, taking one last look at herself in the mirror.

"No problem, now go!" Arden said, pushing her towards Felicity's living room where Oliver was waiting for her. "Use protection." Arden whispered into Felicity ears as they reached the last step on the stairs.

Oliver looked at Felicity and his mouth hung open. "You look beautiful." He said, still in shock. "I've barely seen you in black, or showing off your stomach."

"It was Arden's idea." Felicity smiled at her friend and then looked at the love of her life. "Shall we?"

"We shall." Oliver said, intertwining their fingers and walking out of Felicity's apartment.

Felicity had told Arden that she could stay as long as she wanted in her apartment and Arden was very pleased.

She was eating left over pizza from Felicity's fridge when her phone vibrated with a text.

Roy: you never called :(

Arden: sorry, Felicity and i went shopping for her dinner tonight. can u come over to Lis' place?

Roy: sure, be there in 5

He didn't lie, five minutes later Roy was at the door. They spent hours talking and laughing until Felicity got back. She was smiling widely at the two and Arden and Roy made their way out of Felicity's apartment.

"I ship it." Felicity told herself when they both had left.
