"Cookies?" Oliver asked with his eyebrows furrowed. "I was thinking ice cream."
"Oh, you're no fun." Felicity said rolling her eyes. She walked to Arden's pantry and pulled out cookie mix. "We're gonna make cookies."
"I'd rather just eat cookie dough ice cream." Arden said, looking at Felicity go back and forth, searching for the ingredients.
"You're just like him!" Felicity exclaimed in the same tone. Arden chuckled and walked over to help Felicity.
"Where are your bowls?" Felicity asked, placing the milk carton in the counter.
"Third cabin on your right." Arden answered, while she read the recipe on the box.
"Can I help?" Roy asked, walking into the kitchen.
"Roy, you're supposed to have my back!" Oliver said jokingly, "Ice cream! Ice scream!" He chanted with his fist in the air.
"You're an idiot," Arden chuckled, cracking an egg and opening it above the bowl.
"Wow, how can you crack an egg with one hand?" Felicity asked from behind her.
"Practice." Arden answered with a smirk, "Also, my mom taught me how to cook."
"I swear you two are twins."
–
"Those are some bomb ass cookies," Arden said, eating her second chocolate chip cookie.
"Told you," Felicity said with a grin. She let out a yawn and looked apologetically at Arden.
"I think I'm gonna go, it's late and we still have to get our car from Lance's apartment." Felicity said, getting up from the couch. Oliver repeated her actions and they both mumbled a 'goodnight' before leaving.
"I guess it's just you and me now," Arden awkwardly stated as she looked at Roy sitting across from her. She flashed a toothless grin, taking the last bite of the cookie in her hand.
"I know you don't want to talk to me, Arden." Roy began, moving his body forward. "I can leave if you want me to, but I really need to say a few things."
"You can stay, Roy. What is it that you wanna tell me?" Arden asked, completely focused on Roy. He got up from his seat and sat next to Arden.
"You are not that girl that makes me forget I love someone else, because I don't. You're that girl that makes me forget about all the problems in the world. Thea and I have a past, it's over now. Arden, you're amazing in every way possible, and right now, I'll be happy with just being friends if that's what you want. But, please, talk to me."
Arden didn't respond, she just jumped and hugged him. Roy smiled at the action and hugged her back. They pulled away after some time and Arden took a deep breath before speaking, "I'd like us to be friends, Roy. Start with a normal friendship and see where it takes us."
Roy smiled again and spoke happily, "Of course. You've made me so happy, you don't even understand."
"Don't get too excited, Abercrombie."

[next day]
Arden woke up from a call by Felicity at twelve in the afternoon. It was Arden's day off, so she wanted to sleep in. Arden groaned at the noise coming from her phone and sat up. She grabbed her phone and answered with a groan.
"Good morning to you, too." Felicity chuckled. Arden smiled at her friend. She was glad she had someone like Felicity who she could count on for anything. Felicity would be there if Arden was sad, angry, excited, scared or any other thing and it made Arden happy.
"What do you want, Lis?" Arden asked grumpily.
"We have a surprise for you!" Felicity beamed with excitement. Arden furrowed her eyebrows confused.
"Oh, it's my birthday isn't it?" Arden asked, she calculated the days in her mind and spoke before Felicity could, "Yes, it is!"
"What? I didn't know that!" Felicity exclaimed, "We were just gonna show you something."
"Oh, then don't tell anyone please." Arden said to Felicity. She didn't like everyone looking at her and wishing her a happy birthday.
"Okay, fine." Felicity agreed, "But, you have to come!"
"Be there in a few!"
–
"What is it that you wanna show me?" Arden asked, walking into the lair. She was dressed in her usual black jeans, grey shirt and black leather jacket.
"Happy birthday, Arden!" Felicity exclaimed as soon as she saw Arden walk through the door, making Arden glare at her. Oliver heard Felicity and walked over to them, so did John and Roy.
"It's your birthday? Why didn't you tell me?" Oliver asked confused, he also looked hurt.
"Honestly, I forgot." Arden chuckled to herself before speaking again, "And I don't like birthdays."
"Well, happy birthday. I hope you have a great day." Oliver said and hugged Arden tightly. They let go and Diggle and Roy made their way to wish her a happy birthday and hug her.
After they finished, Felicity dragged Arden towards a long cylinder figure with a black cloth over it, hiding what was behind it.
"Consider this your birthday gift," Felicity said and took the cloth off the cylinder.
Arden gasped at the sight. A purple suit was put on a manikin. It was a full body suit that had pockets to place guns and was made of a flexible material. In the face of the manikin there was a purple mask, it was so much better than Arden's current one. Also, there was a new purple wig in the manikin's head. And what Arden liked most about, some purple boot heels were placed on the feet. It was perfect, and all for Arden.
