seventeen : i missed you, baby

"Your ex-boyfriend? But, how does he know me? It can't be him," Oliver said confused. Arden was breathing hard now, she was feeling sick.

"The picture, it's him. I don't know why and how he knows you, but I'm sure it's him," Arden said slowly, "I recognize that face anywhere, it's the face that appears in my nightmares."

"Nightmares? Is there something you haven't told me?" Oliver asked confused.

"My ex-boyfriend was abusive. I called the cops on him after a year, he was also accused of shoplifting and murder... So they sent him to prison forever." Arden explained, and Oliver felt bad for her.

"What's going on?" Roy said, coming towards the three that seem to be worried.

"My ex-boyfriend got out of prison and he's coming for us," Arden said and gulped harshly. She walked towards the fridge but tripped on her own foot on the way. Thankfully, she balanced herself and didn't fall. Roy went over to her and grabbed her arm gently, lifting it up and putting it around his neck. He guided her towards a chair and sat her down.

"Do you want some water?" Roy asked and Arden nodded. Roy went to the fridge while Felicity worked on her computer, stealing glances at Arden to see how she was doing.

"AHA!" Felicity exclaimed suddenly, making all heads turn to her, including Diggle and Lyla that came into the kitchen. "Cracked it, the e-mail was sent from a computer store. Which is annoying because it's not a stable location, he might be somewhere else now."

"What if the e-mail is a distraction while he's doing something else? He wants us to figure out the e-mail and everything while he does something else." Arden suddenly said and everyone put deep thought into it.

"Good point, that's why we'll have Oliver being mayor, protecting the town and we'll have you and Roy out in the streets when needed, I'll do the research with Curtis." Felicity said and Oliver chuckled, clenching his jaw.

"Um, Felicity..." Oliver began and Felicity gave him a glare, "Never mind."

"Glad we're all on the same page!" Felicity smiled, Diggle and Lyla were confused as to what was going on.

"What e-mail? What's happening?" Lyla asked concerned. Little John came in and hugged Arden. She laughed and sat him on her lap.

"Long story short, we've got work to do." Oliver said firmly.

Felicity; Okay, have fun at work!

Arden sighed and entered the music shop. She greeted her co-worker and went to the back of the counter.

"Any new music come out yet?" Arden asked her co-worker, Tasha.

"New CD's, typical pop music. We got some new Korean music, something like Sparkly or Shiny, I don't know." Tasha said and Arden nodded. She couldn't wait to get out of there. She needed to go on the field and relieve some stress.

Felicity was in the lair, doing research on Scott. She was struggling to find anything. Her computer chimed and she furrowed her eyebrows, seeing cameras picked up Scott's face in the pizza place next to Arden's work. Her eyes went wide and she quickly called Oliver.

"Felici-"

"Scott is dangerously close to Arden," Felicity said fast into the phone.

"What? Where is he?" Oliver asked concerned.

"Pizza place next to her work. Oliver, please hurry, I don't want anything to happen to Arden." Felicity said, "I don't wanna tell her because I know she'd try something."

"Okay, don't worry, I'll be there quick."

"Thanks."

"We're so empty today," Arden said looking around. "I'm gonna check the new music."

"Okay," Tasha said and Arden got out from behind the counter.

She walked the aisles until she found the new music. There was a new Bruno Mars album, a Korean album called WINGS, a new Lady Gaga album and a new Shawn Mendes album. She picked up the Lady Gaga album when she heard the door bell ring, signaling a costumer had walked in. She shrugged and hoped Tasha could deal with them. She examined the back of the album, reading the tracks.

"Where's the Michael Jackson music?" An almost too familiar voice said, Arden was confused. She turned around and was shocked to see the person in front of her.

"What are you doing here?" Arden asked.

"Just came to check on you," Oliver said and Arden chuckled.

"Okay, Dad." Arden said and rolled her eyes.

"We need to get out of here," Oliver said and grabbed Arden's hand, but Arden pulled it away.

"I'm working," Arden said and Oliver just huffed and grabbed her hand again, pulling her towards the door. Just when they were about to walk out the door, a familiar face walked in.

"What do we have here?" Scott asked and Arden dropped the album she had in her hands. "I missed you, baby."
