I kept pointing out the problem we were going to experience. However, they didn't listen. All they did was ignore me, the outcast child in the group. I tried my best to save us, but it was no use. Hell, I wouldn't have listened to myself either. We got on the path, that being the easiest part of the whole trek, but when we were halfway down the path, it happened. The ground trembled beneath us, and in a matter of seconds about a hundred rocks fell from the sky. Then, the boulders came, rolling down the mountain we just so happened to be traversing. I stood at the far back of the group, not having a clue on what to do. Everybody stood shocked, and it was only a few who managed to react in time to save themselves. I heard screams, and that was it. Out of the hundred people in the whole group, only I and a mere handful of others escaped. When they left me stranded there, I knew it was up to myself to survive the rest of the Reversing Age.

*5 years into the future*

I took a step up to the ridge, taking a cautious peek around my location. Holding the weapon up, I threw the javelin into the Tenebris Deliciis, piercing it's thick armor. Soon enough, an Inane Simulacra appeared. I watched as it plunged it's demonic hand into the Deliciis' corpse and tore out a single bead of life. The instant it vanished I ripped myself out of the vines ensnaring me, and knelt down beside the corpse. Holding the corpse down, I pulled the javelin out with little effort. Thanks to the hibernating Tenebris Testimonium, it's teeth became the perfect tip for my javelins. Slender and sharp, they could pierce even the Deliciis' arma daemonium. I took off the Deliciis' pouch and took a look inside. Pulling out some night stones and old currency, I felt something cold and jagged at the bottom. Taking yet another look inside, something shone dimly at the end of the pouch. I carefully stuck my hand in and clutched the "orb." Holding it in my open hands, I noticed that whatever this was, had a powerful aura to it. Slightly curious, I packed it away, grabbed my javelin, and turned the body around, looking for clues as to what this was. Finding nothing, I trudged on through the desolate jungle, in hopes of making a better find than this.
