9 years later...

Maxwell's P.O.V

"Come on Bea! Lets go!"

"Where are we going?"

I pulled her up the hill. At the top, I prepared a lunch date. Paper lanterns were strung across the tree's branches. The picnic blanket was laid out, with a basket filled with drinks and food on top.

Before I sat, I made sure the ring was in my pocket. Goodness, I'm nervous!

We sat down, ate, laughed and talked. Seeing her smile was the best thing about her smile. I can't wait to see that smile for the rest of my life.

I looked at the time. 2:30. It was time.

"Bea..."

"Yes, Max?"

"I wanna show you something."

I grabbed her hand and I brought her to the side of the hill. Then told her to look up. I hired a blimp to project the words, ''Will you marry me, Bethany?''.

Once she looked up, our families gathered around and I bent down, and opened the box.

"Bethany Richardson, I loved you for 21 years. Even if we were apart for most of that time, I never stopped loving you. Even now, I will never stop loving you. Bethany, will you marry me?"

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, I am."

"Then that's my answer!"

"Really?!"

She nodded. I got up and slid the ring on her finger. We hugged and kissed. Everyone was cheering and hollering.

"I love you, Bea."

"I love you, too, Max."
