Lydia wakes to the sound of her alarm groaning lightly wishing that it was not real. realizing that the sound was not going away anytime soon she grudgingly sat up and pressed her alarm off. getting out of bed she rubbed her eyes as she made her way to her bathroom to get ready. after showering her body she took her hair out of its cap and decided to throw it in a messy ponytail, 'nobody really pays attention to me anyway' Lydia thought to herself, but then again, she prefers it that way. she likes being alone because its easier, not only for her but for everyone around her. the girl shakes her head as if she was shaking away her thoughts and continue to get ready.

after moisturizing and making sure her eyebrows and lashes were not going crazy, she gets started by putting on all her base layers, Lydia decides to wear light blue jeans that hugged her waist pleasantly and showed her curves but are looser around the legs, which the girl liked but she covers her body with an oversized t-shirt and a basic brown flannel that almost swallows the girl. Lydia is not one to try to draw attention to herself so she does not wear much jewelry. at all times she wears a dainty necklace with a great tree engraved on a small silver plate that her grandmother gave her before she passed, but the girl keeps it tucked in at all times. not really that enthused for the first day of senior year she slips on some converse and grabs her fake glasses before heading downstairs.

Lydia still had some time for she had to leave for school so she decided on making a quick breakfast and turning on the morning news only to be reminded of her secret double life. she shuts off the tv and decides she will just show up earlier since it is the first day and Lydia is pretty much a genius who is at the top of the school, she does not let it show though as she always sits in the back of class and she certainly will not go out of her way to talk to anyone. unless that person is her bestfriend, Allison, who happens to be one of the most popular girls in the school because of talent and being kind to others but she never left the girls side since she moved here last year. and she is the only person to ever know about Lydias secret and they trust each other completely. they quickly became close after Allison trusted the girl with her families secrets as well.

Lydia parks in the parking lot and it seems a lot of people had the same idea as her to come early and the girl wasn't surprised because they probably have not gotten their schedule yet. she sighs 'lets get this over with so we can go home and be by myself' she thinks and steps out of her old baby blue beetle, although it does not compare to her sleek back motorbike she takes out when she is doing her vigilante duties, but it gets the job done and its a great cover car. as Lydia is walking through the crowded hallway trying to make it to her locker she sees Allison waiting for her with Scott her boyfriend, who she has know since they were little kids but they did not really talk after they started high school but its not bad having him around now. lydia walks up to the couple and greets them shyly.

"oh my gosh Lydia" Allison pulled they girl into a hug while telling her how much she missed her, Allison had been gone on a family trip all summer and barley had service. "please sit with us at lunch so we can all catch up" she tells Lydia and she motions to scott. Lydia slightly tensed because she knows where ever Scott goes there is a certain brown haired boy was bound to follow. "Ally, you know I love you but you know I don't like to sit with people" Lydia responds to her doe eyed bestfriend. Lydia prefers to sit in the library by herself either studying or listening to music.

Allison huffs, clearly not having any of it. "Lydia Martin I will not take no for an answer today, meet me here after four period and we can walk to lunch together."  Allison demands smiling walking away before Lydia could protest. She just rolls her eyes and thought 'great' and turned to her locker to get her books out that she had already put there during pre enrollment, then the girl heads towards first period. Math.  Time starts flying by and now it's fourth hour, History, which is one of Lydia's favorite subjects.
