We're back

Oliver was happy to be back in school, he wore his new shoes he had got for christmas and he wore his new Darth Vader watch. He was so happy to be back with his friends at school he was even more happy to see Jane, after their conversion. He didn't know if he wanted to ask her out or not. He wanted to but he was afraid of rejection. He was really in love with her and he wanted her to be his, but he was unsure, he just tried not to think about it. He sat at the top of the hill and his friend Lan'e came up and snuck behind him and scared him, Sandra and Oliver always called her Armani because she was always so stylish. Oliver always hated being scared, and everybody knew it. They were excited to see each other, they talked and talked about their Christmas. Lan'e had gone to Mexico for Christmas with her family. The bell rang it was time for Ms. Katie's class,
"Okay class today we will start our new English Project! POETRY SLAM" She said.
"You will find Poetry and analyze it, than, you will write your own poem and present it to the class" She said. Oliver had already knew what he was going to write about. Last year at his old school he won most poetic out of his grade. He wasn't worried.
Jane and Oliver had hardly talked that day, they emailed each other all day and talked a little bit in Reading Practice but other than that they hardly talked. Oliver got sad and really upset because he really wanted to talk to her and be with her. The day was almost over and Oliver was on his way to English, When him and Jane stopped and had a conversation.
"Hi, how ya doin" Jane asked.
"Better now" Oliver implied meaning that him seeing her made him happy.
"How was your christmas vacation?" Oliver asked. Jane started to ramble on and while was talking Oliver was just staring listening falling deeper and deeper in love. *BAM* Oliver was so focused on Jane so much that he ran into a pole.
"OMG ARE YOU OKAY!!" Jane said.
"Yeah, I'm fine" Oliver said laughing. They than both walked their separate ways.
"Okay class, today we are beginning to write our poems" Ms. Katie said.
"Go check the document in the A.P.E. It's in the POETRY BOOM Project library" Ms. Katie said.
"I will give you until 2:55 to work on it than after that we have to pack up" Ms. Katie said as she set her timer. Oliver sat and began to work on his poem, he had a beginning so far,
"I asked God for a flower...
He gave me a bouquet
I asked God for a minute
He gave me an hour
I asked for an angel
That was the day I met you
The days I cried, you were there
The days I smiled you were there
The way you laughed
Made me want to tell jokes forever
The days I said,"I'm fine"
You said,"No you're not"
And we cried together"
He had decided to write his poem about Jane, and how much she means to him. He wanted to write more so he decided to talk to her for some inspiration. Jane and Oliver talked and talked, they were so deep into conversation that none of them were paying attention to the time. It was time to leave class. Oliver had to get home quickly because he had to let his dad in the house, because he forgot his keys.
Oliver rushed home, he had got there just in time, his dad had just gotten off the bus carrying a bouquet of flowers.
"Dad what are those" Oliver asked?
"Oh there those black roses for your grandmother's funeral" his dad said.
"These things were not cheap, you can't even buy them in a bouquet, you have to buy the a flower each. All together, these cost about a couple hundred dollars" dad said.
"Wow, thank God i'll never have to buy them" Oliver said.
Days went by Oliver had Jane grew closer and closer, Oliver fell deeper and deeper in love. Jane and Oliver became more intimate with each other, they were more lovey-dovey. Oliver had had, many run ins with the love game, but they always ended badly. They always broke his heart, until one day in order for his heart to no longer be frozen anymore, he froze that small, piece of heart he had left. So it would be safe, and it would no longer be able to be broken. He had a cold heart, it was warm, he was ruthless, he was not very nice. He didn't show compassion. But... Jane... She was warming his cold heart up, she was making him feel something he hadn't felt before... He was loved...
