YES!! We're only at the bloody Ritz! I can't believe it. My eyes are wide open and my jaw is on the floor.

I look back at Benedict and he's smiling at me. I jumped on to him and kissed him. I could tell this surprised him because he laughed as I kissed him. I jumped back down and tried to compose myself.

Benedict took my hand and lead me over to the restaurant. I did feel slightly underdressed, however it could have been worse, I could have been in jeans or something.

We get to the door and I'm trying so hard not to scream because of how excited I am. I've always wanted to go here, it makes me feel like royalty.

A waiter guides us to our table and we sit down opposite each other. I open the menu and start looking at what they have. For a starter, I decide on the Parmesan Royale. And for a main I go for Tournedos of Beef. I also decide on Rosé for my beverage. I place the menu on the table and wait for Benedict to decide.

While I wait, I get the opportunity to look at the stunning interior of this place. From the curtains, to the massive chandeliers. It's absolutely beautiful and I really cannot believe I'm here. I start smiling as I'm looking around. I notice Benedict watching me as I admire this beautiful room. I giggle a little and he chuckles back.

"Are you ready to order?" He asks me.

"Yes I am, are you?" I reply.

"Yeah. I'll just wait for someone to come over." He says as he places his menu on the table to show he's done choosing. "This place is magnificent, isn't it?" He says to me, whilst looking around.

"Yeah it is. I'm so happy to be here, I can't believe it. Thank you so much." I say with a massive smile on my face. Benedict smiles back as a waiter comes over to our table and asks us what we're having.

"What would you like for a drink, Madame?" The waiter asks.

"I'll have Rosé please." I reply.

"Very good. And for you, sir?"

"I'll have Chardonnay please."

"Of course sir. Will you be having starters?" He asks both of us.

"Yes we will, thank you" Benedict replies.

He takes our orders and then leaves to get our drinks. Benedict chose the Langoustine for a starter and Loin of Lamb for his main.

The waiter returned with our drinks and we thanked him. I took a sip of my sparkling Rosé. It was the best Rosé I'd ever tasted. I could drink this all night long. But I wont, I don't really want to be shitfaced in the poshest restaurant in the whole world.

Benedict took a sip of his Chardonnay and placed it back down on the table.  "So..." He began. "Tell me more about you, Elizabeth." He said with a smirk.

I giggled and replied "Um, okay well, I grew up in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and I hated it to be quite honest." I said and laughed a little. "I have a sister called Amelia and she is exactly one year younger than me"

"Oh wow, really?" Benedict inquired.

"Yes, really. She was my first birthday present" I said and laughed.

"That's incredible." Benedict said and started laughing too.

"Yeah but that meant I had to share birthdays with her up until I was about 13, which was kind of annoying." I said and rolled my eyes and smirked. "I don't talk to her anymore though. She moved up to Manchester a couple of years back and we just haven't really got in touch."

"Oh well that's a shame." Benedict replied. "Oh, I think our starters are here" he said, whilst looking behind me. And sure enough, the waiter placed both our starters on the table.
