*1 month later*

I got to work and went into my office. I have started my actual job now so that makes the whole Benedict thing a lot easier. I hardly see him anymore. In fact, I only really get to see him if he wants to check my papers over, which now I think about it, quite a lot but still not as much as before. I still think about him, a lot, but he doesn't think about me so, what can I do?

He's really been pissing me off ever since that day in his office. Everytime I see him, it reminds me of that day. His words cut like knives in a fist fight.

I get to my desk, sit down, and sigh. I plant my face in my hands for a second, then I pick up my briefcase and get all my paperwork out.

I jump as a voice coming from behind me speaks. "Elizabeth?"

"Oh, sorry I didn't mean to startle you." Says Benedict, apologetically.

"Well then maybe you shouldn't have crept up on me." I reply with an annoyed tone.

"Yes well, nevermind. I wanted to talk to you about the woman with the pink coat.. what was her name again?" He questioned.

"Rachel."

"Ah yes, Rachel. Well she rang today and told me that her court date is on the 29th of July."

"Couldn't you have just sent me an email?" I reply.

"Well yes I could have but I wanted to make sure you got the information as soon as you got in."

"Then you could have called me instead."

"Is it just me or do you not really want me here?" Benedict asked.

"I don't really want you here." I replied.

"Okay then, I'll go. Just don't forget that date." He said whilst walking towards the door.

"I won't, Mr Cumberbatch." I said with a sarcastic tone. He turned around, winked at me and then exited through the door.

I sighed and got to work. Rachel's case is so frustrating. I'm surprised I haven't gone insane yet. Don't get me wrong, I do love this job, but it can be a bit of a handful sometimes.

I looked at the time, Christ! It was almost half 1. I was meant to have my lunch half an hour ago. Oops. Oh well, I'll just go now. I got up and headed to the door, just as Benedict entered. I nearly ran straight into him.

"Oh, sorry Izzy, I thought you'd be on your lunch break." Benedict said.

Izzy? Since when does he call me Izzy? "Yeah well I would've been if I hadn't forgotten. What did you want anyway?" I asked.

"Oh..u-um...well it doesn't matter now." He said hurriedly and walked back to his office. Strange? I thought to myself, but I just brushed it off and went to lunch.

It was about half an hour until I got back. I walked back into my office to find Benedict sat in my chair with his legs crossed on my desk, reading my papers.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

He jumped slightly but ignored it. "I'm just looking at your papers." He replied.

"I can see that. Are you nearly finished? I need to get on."

"Yeah...I'm finished now." He said whilst taking his feet off my desk and placing the papers back where they were. He stood up and instantly towered over me. He walked past me and then turned back towards me.

"What?" I asked.

"I, uh...well.....ugh...never mind." He replied and went to walk away but I stopped him by running in front and placing my hands on his chest.

"Tell me." I said as a stared into his beautiful eyes. I hadn't done this in a long time. I think I'd slightly forgotten how exquisite they really were.

I could tell he was shocked by my hands being on his chest so I took them away. I looked at the floor for a few seconds before staring up at his stunning blue-green orbs again. He was in the exact position that he had been in for a while. Staring back at my blue eyes with his lips slightly parted.

"No no really it-" he began.

"Tell me." I interrupted.

"Alright alright." He said, giving in to my demands. He motioned for me to sit down at my desk and he pulled a chair over for him to sit on.

"Right, well, I don't want you to get creeped out or anything but...this last month...I just can't stop thinking about you and that's why I use any excuse to come and see you but you just keep pushing me away and it's really bothering me so...if you want me to leave you alone I will but if you don't then...please say something." He said, the whole time looking at the floor and shaking his leg.

I didn't quite know what to say. I knew I wanted to say something but I really didn't know what. I was gobsmacked. Especially because of what he did.

"Well, I-" I began, but was then interrupted by a knock at my door.
