It was a very eventful night, after Stiles and I danced, dad made him sleep on the floor with the door wide open. I'm surprised he didn't take the door off it's hinges just in case. Not that I ever would with my dad in the house.. not that I have been thinking about it, I mean..

I snapped out of my thoughts, changing into a sports bra with a sweater with the sleeves cut off. I pulled on my shorts and went down to the training room to get in some practice time with dad before having to be off at school. After everything that's happened, he's more determined with training than usual. As soon as I stepped into the training room, dad tossed me two of the wooden sticks.

"Hand eye coordination, try to keep up." Dad warned me before he tried coming at me.

Luckily, I managed to block it before we started sparing. Dad said this was excellent hand eye coordination, and it was. Plus, I didn't feel ready to hold an actual weapon yet. I mean, one wrong move and I could take off his hand or he could cut my throat. So for now, bamboo sticks will do. At least until I advance further, which dad thinks will be soon since I've been picking it up pretty well.

After what seemed like more than an hour, almost two, dad and I decided to cut sparing short today since I had school in the morning. Not to mention, I had to drive Stiles while his jeep is still in lock up. It should be out soon though, at least we hope. It's too weird driving my car and not the jeep.

I sighed, putting the bamboo sticks back on their holders before running a hand through my hair. I pulled at my hair a little, feeling a bit of a headache. Ugh, I was probably just hungry or something. That's my solution to everything, "You're probably just hungry." I mean, it seemed legitimate enough.

"How are you feeling slugger?" Dad asked me.

I turned around to look at him, drinking some water from my water bottle before wiping the sweat off my forehead with a towel. I shrugged my shoulders, avoiding eye contact with him. "Fine, just been feeling a bit off lately. I don't know but I think it might be the medicine the doctors gave me for possibly infections.."

"Have you been taking the ones they prescribed to help you sleep?" Dad asked me.

I thought about lying to him but what's the point? I can't go to sleep without having nightmares, i don't like taking the medicine since it makes me too tired and sleepy.. I can't take them, they make me too weak to fight back these crazy nightmares I've been having.

I was so consumed in my thoughts that my silence had let dad know the answer already without me saying a single word. Luckily, dad didn't say anything. He just offered me a small reassuring smile instead.
