" Baby, are you busy?" Janet asked over the phone and I could tell by the tone of her voice something was wrong.
" Uuuuh." I sung rubbing my head. " I was doing something but if you need me I can come to you."
" Oh well okay. Can you come to me now?"
" Yeah, where are you?" I asked taking a deep breath.
" Saint Peter's Memorial Hospital." She mumbled.
Once she said that my heart dropped. I felt my palms beginning to sweat. " I'm on my way, what's wrong?"
" Well." She said before letting out a painful laugh. " I was kind of doing something then there was some blood a little while ago. I started feeling light headed and the next thing I know, I'm in a hospital."
" Aight, I'll be there in ten minutes tops. Okay?"
" Yeah." She replied taking a deep breath.
" I love you."
She stayed quiet for a minute then softly replied. " Love you too."
I gotta go check on my baby.

" Lisa, are you sure about this?" My homegirl Tionne asked with the flat iron in her hand.
" Yeah Li, he's crazy about you." Kim agreed with her face scrunched up. " He wouldn't do nothing that stupid."
" I really do think he's cheating. I can feel it, some part of me knows he's doing it."
" You need us to help you drop him on his head or kill him and that girl?" Kim asked raising her eyebrows at me.
I sat quiet for a second just thinking. " No, we don't have to do any of that."
" And why not?" Tionne asked. " You know that's like my brother and I don't mind letting him have it."
" What exactly would I be accomplishing by snapping at him? I'll loose my family, he'll go right into her arms even more and I'll be missing something. Now what I look like throwing that all away? She ain't getting nothing but scraps and spare time when he's coming home to me and our family."
Kim scrunched up her face with her head tilted to the side while she took im everything I was saying. " You do got a point."
" Exactly, I'm not here for that. Why would I let some random woman come in and take something I've been solidifying since I was fifteen. I don't think so."
" Chiiiiiile." Kim sung crossing her legs as she flipped the page in her magazine. " You better than me.. I'd be turning everything upside down."
" I'm not about to act stupid, I don't got time and we got four kids together. I'm not on that." I shrugged.
" Well can we play detective and find out if he really is cheating?" Tionne asked. " I won't say nothing, we'll just collect the evidence."
" And do what with it?" I asked looking at her. " What I'm gone do with that, confront him about it? He's not gon stop, he's only going to tell me what I want to hear and keep talking to her."
" Ooooh, you right." Kim nodded.
" Yeeeeah but you'll feel better just knowing who she is and how she look." Tionne shrugged. " At least it's one and not multiple."
